I think he tried out but due to the fact he's a little bit older they said that one against him since the bond franchises sometimes, or most likely run for about five films at a time. We need to exception of Timothy Dalton who was a horrible James Bond. He's a good actor but he just didn't have that it Factor.

I read the ratings, and was surprised not to see Redemption in the ratings. My 1 - 10: Redemption, Safe, Transporter1, Meg, Transporter3, Mechanic Resurrection, The Bank Job, Parker, The Italian Job, and Chaos.
All great movies. On IMDb, I've given the 10 movies between 7 and 10 out of 10. My favorite is Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. #2 is Safe from +3. So the movies are all in my top 27% of movies watched.
Pretty good list overall. But you missed Killer Elite. Which is partly true because The Battle of Mirbat was a real historical event 1972. Most have never heard if this SAS battle almost mimicks The Alamo of 1836 Texas.
