Star Rail is a side story that happens as a result of APHO and takes place during the Alien Space Manga

Honkai star rail seems to follow A Post Honkai odyssey line, which is a open world mode inside honkai that happens 8 years after the main story (This trailer is from the part 2 of A post Honkai, so it's not other game, just a game mode inside Honkai 3rd). However star rail is a new game, and tho it happens in the same universe and uses as basis HI3rd lore, seems that will have its own lore, so I think even if you haven't played HI3rd, you will be able to understand star rail, just not grab all past lore stuff

Mihoyo never cease to amaze me with their high end CGI which completely overtaken the animation as if this were a high budget movie & with the astonishing bgm which is really fits the scene.

Mihoyo's real milestone and deserving of such a reveal and celebration. The day when Genshin is the same age. is when The world of Teyvat is in full apocalypse mode.
Edit: Honestly all I was trying to say was that Genshin will at one point hopefully reach the stage of Honkai where we will get to experience the same level of world ending urgency.
The fact that people on the 21st of November 2021 are still complaining about the anniversary just goes to show how entitled they think they are. Its sad to see the minority always being the most vocal like a bunch of small miniature dogs, that always has to bark to make up for their inadequacies. The game is Free 2 Play that goes above and beyond. Its a game that is no where near completion.
Despite never spending a single cent on the game. I can appreciate the fact the team is able to stick to their schedule for each patch. each patch bringing new quests, more character content, more puzzles or events and on top of that also giving us quality of life updates and other patches to the bugs. Then there is the voice work, for all 4 languages that are also added in, in one patch. How many games out there can achieve this?
People seems to forget this is a game that not only now is cross save on all available platforms but also cross play. Its a game that is designed to work on all devices simultaneously. I am no tech expert. But I assume to achieve this alone is no small and easy task. Therefore each update and patch has to be thoroughly tested before it goes live.
I knew that as the Genshin community got bigger, the game grows in popularity through various means. it would mean the once happy and fun community will start to see sprouts of the toxic players and trolls. But its just simply sad.

No need to apologies dude, honkai fandom (or most people in honkai official discord) is chilling and just joking around about the whole review bombing thing and most of veteran honkai players also play genshin since day 1 and they probably dont really care too much abiut the whole genshin player drama.

Mihoyo, you never fail to deliver!!! Especially in our Honkai family 👪 We love what you do and this story has been nothing short of phenomenal. To think of our beloved characters growing into adulthood just makes me crazy in the best way. Like I can't imagine how bad ass these women will be as full fledged adults!! Now you're also giving us Star Rail, you spoil us. I'm so glad our money actually goes to development and production because you give it everytime without fail. @@justaweebunderthemask3016 possible, but I’m not sure. I examined the video and the pink haired girls eyes look way to dull to be Sora, they look closer to grey than the bright red/pink that Sora has. The other character has white/blondeish hair while Sin has light pinkish hair.
