I was literally violently sobbing after this episode. I knew exactly what was gonna happen cause of the manga, but seeing it animated was just so much more emotional. Bones really cooked this episode

He threw the punch at the same time the beam hit ShigaAfo to make sure it hit him (sadly it didn't do any damage). Mirio's quirk doesn't make him super strong or anything so that's why he needs other to do the damage. Basically, Bakugos awakening, as the voice explains, makes his body unable to keep up with his exploding sweat so instead of coming out of his palms it travels through his body to whereever else it can come out, that's why he's sparkling like that because his sweat spread through his whole body. And Shigarakis attack caused a misfire of the sweat near his heart, which made it explode while still in his body, literally exploding Bakugos heart.
