Just make sure traction control is off put it in first gear, rev the engine up and hold it to 4-6k rpms and quickly let off the clutch and move your left foot to the brakes lightly and modulate with the throttle to keep the wheel speed up and that should work. That's how we always do it hopefully this helps!
Okay thats pretty badass! Lol but I street mine occasionally and its definately a good clutch like i said in the video this particular twin disk tends to shutter and shake on takeoff out of first just from not giving it more gas this clutch loves to be thrashed on so you just got to give it all the beans lol
@@planetstang1143 cool I may just keep it I'm not afraid give it gas. Don't plan on great fuel economy I'll be running a steel flywheel. I'm planning on taking to James Dean fest. sorry be alot stop and go my only concern. I will keep run before I loose 100 shipping it. If I don't like can always swap later I don't like it cause it chatters too much for me.
Yeah that's true and there is a good bit of chatter but I rip on my car 24/7 and I trust it with my life but with mostly street driving it's probably a good idea to get a different one but glad I could help!
I just ordered this clutch yesterday, bro. Do you think it’ll hold up to 700+ whp with abusive launches @ the track with slicks? My current clutch is locking me out and I opted for a Twin Disc clutch to avoid that.
Yeah I would definately recommend it for that I rarely have lockout issues now but I would definitely recommend putting a short throw in it if you havent already that cleaned my shifts up as well but more specifically the barton hybrid 3 it shifts like butter and combined with the clutch it drives great!
I believe they make a triple disk as well and maybe even a single disc but I'm unfamiliar if I'm being honest but regardless going with a McLeod is gonna work they're the best in the game if you ask me!
@@planetstang1143 why I ask, is because I just dropped my MT82 to be rebuild, but I saw a McLeod clutch which the previous owner put on, so I don't know if it's Rst or Txt, anyways thank you
Aww okay I see well is should say on the pressure plate rst or rxt. Rst would be the twin disc 800hp one and the rxt is the twin disc 1000hp one and if is says nothing on the pressure plate most likely it's the single disc one
Great video! I've got a 14 and the clutch is gonna be my next mod. Been leaning this way and now I'm sold on it.
Thanks man I appreciate that! And I'm glad the video helped!
Bro you’re channel is underrated. Subscribed
Great vid thanks for the review. I got a 17gt mustang with Edelbrock super charger. Do u recommend this for daily?
Thanks! And yeah it should work fine for that!
Just installed this in my 05 supercharged love it so far only put 60 miles on it but it is so smooth.
Yeah I love mine It completely woke the car up!
How do you do a burnout with the setup because i can't

My stock clutch just started slipping. Just ordered this one and hopefully it will hold 700hp.
Yeah it definately should man, I've had nothing but luck with it!
Thoughts on it for street use mostly? I'm in a 69 Camaro with 383 stroker pushing 500 hp. 2017 or newer mustang next

Hell yeah! And ohh for sure bro! I've had zero issues with this clutch and I highly recommend it! It's good for 800hp so you should be good!
Hey how is the clutch holding up? Is it noisy? Ima bout to install one in my 03 cobra
Its holding up great! I've had zero issues with it so far!
@@planetstang1143 thanks my guy.. your stang sounds bad azz by the way 👍
Thanks brother I appreciate it 🤟🤟
Hey brother, I’m having crazy high rpm lockout with the mt82 think this I’ll help?

@@planetstang1143 agreed I have the same setup!
Cut the music while you’re talking brother
I can do that! Thanks for the tip we are both all new to this 😂
Does the clutch engage top or bottom?
It engages at the top but once you get used to it it can take a hell of a beating
@@planetstang1143 sounds like it needs a shim behind the slave cylinder to move the engagement down lower on the peddle.
Do all McLeod clutch are Twin Clutch?
