Mumbai Billboard Accident | "Bad Planning, Corruption": Man Who Predicted Mumbai Billboard Tragedy

Author Amitav Ghosh said bad planning and corruption are behind the billboard tragedy in Mumbai that killed 14 people. Mr Ghosh, in his book eight years ago, had warned how the Maximum City's billboards will become "deadly projectiles" if a cyclone strikes. The book was 'The Great Derangement: Climate Change and the Unthinkable'. He also says such hoardings will lead to more disaster if a cyclone hits Mumbai.

If Mr. Ghosh had predicted and warned about the tragedy that could unfold, then his prediction is just a small percentage from which we should take note.
However, on a larger scale, the Bollywood movies have long been projecting the corruption in various ways, in stories and songs. Has the general public given heed to any such warnings? No. Why?
