- Hi everyone,
You must know by now that I love drawing fruits! And especially 🍋🍋!
This is a very easy-to-do illustration and yet it has that wow factor, doesn't it? 😄
This is my very unique Procreate digital drawing technique and I really wanted to share it with you. Master this and you'll be ready to draw spectacular realistic illustrations on your iPad, and the best part is they will take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete. I promise that's exactly how much time I need to draw this!
To be honest, the Procreate brushes that I'm using make like 50% of the job! I created them to make my illustration process better and faster.
Having the right Procreate tools will help you so much but don't worry if you can not get them! You just have to learn to improvise! 😄

The tablet I'm using here is a 12.9' 2021 M1 iPad Pro with a 2nd generation Apple pencil and the drawing app is Procreate.

Wow! You‘re amazing! I learnt how to draw realistic with acrylic paint on canvas. For me it‘s sooo hard and complicated to do this on an ipad! But even if you didn‘t do this digital. Your technique is remarkable! How you set the shadows, that little details at the edges of the leaves. And the texture of the lemons looks so real. My compliment! I‘m just learning how to use procreate etc. and i‘ll definitly watch your channel ☺️
PS: that daughter sound just made it complete 😂
I have a traditional art background too. And I am pretty much following my "oil painting technique" on Procreate too, as weird as it might sound :))

Stealing that layer-changing with single-tap shortcut!!
Just want to say that I love your process. I drew this yesterday, first drawing I've ever done in Procreate, on a 2014 iPad Air 2nd Gen, with a crack across the screen and a generic stylus purchased from Amazon. 10 Layer limit! App crashing! But your process is clear and even though it took forever, I could still make something that looks amazing. Can't wait to try more and will be buying your brush set soon. :)

I love your work and would love to do your tutorials but they are too hard to follow. I have noticed that often times brushes, brush sizes, and opacity are changed without notice or saying what they changed to. Many videos do not have color swatches. I wonder what else is being changed in the various layers that have been edited out? I have subscribed but am not sure why. Please consider sharing all the information needed to complete the drawing. I am not very good at reading minds over RUclips 🙂 Thanks

Hi, I only edit the videos to keep them shorter since most of my audience told me they get bored with longer videos.
First, you'll find all the color swatches on my Instagram channel (info in the video description).
Then, you can always see the opacity and size of the brush, you just need to look at the brush bars on the screen (on the left). Just notice how those bars are moving, that will tell you the size and opacity (keep in mind that the middle is 50 %). Do the same for the color, just look at the little color dot on the right top of the screen.

What other things are being changed in video editing? not much really, sometimes I cut tool selections if they are repetitive, and pretty much that's it! Please believe me that I am doing my very best to deliver you guys the best videos that I can but sometimes it's pretty hard to make editing decisions when different parts of my audience want different things. Hi, I'm using my own brushes. You can find them in the video description or just look for the illustrateria Complete Shading Brush Packon Gumroad. On more recent videos I am sharing at all times the brush that I am using and the HEX color code.

Nope, only on iPads. You can use a similar app like Fresco, Infinite Painter, Studio Paint Clip (highly recommend!), Sketchbook, Drawing Desk and these are just a few

Thank you so much! To be honest I am always so anxious about the music since I need to have more than one song in a video and I'm never sure they mix well :)) In today's video I used Kylie Dailey's songs, I get them from Epidemic Sound 🤗
Zorja, the music in this video reminded me a lot of a band called „daughter“. I think if you like this sound you might like them too - as i do ☺️
@@illustrateria I agree, the song selection is great. The singer's voice is really soothing and the beats just add on to that. Given my high social media usage, I suffer with attention span but I'm gonna be honest here and say that I watched the entire video and it put me to sleep (I mean that in a good way of course haha)

Could you perhaps hare your color palette with us and list the brushes used in which order? I'd like to follow along :D
Take a screenshot and then bring in it as reference. You will be able to create a colour palette from it.

You should do something more for the information side of this video.
if u talking colour palette research colour theory( it s fun and if u understand that it will change a lot for better), and try to recreate for learning purposes but also don t be afraid to try your own style, experimening with different brushes, not every artist tool works for everybody, God bless

Erasing the borders of the leaves after doing all the lights, shadows and details it’s such a great idea!
I think voice over gently would be a lot better and more beneficial than the music. The music is giving me a headache so ive muted it, but now as im doing art its harder to be engaged with the video

Procreate is just for iPad but you can use a similar app. 🤗 Like clip studio paint
