Thanks for being so funny 🤣. Very explanatory about the points. Thank you so much for that. I sailed on Magnifica in August. Going on seashore this wknd.
Hi Richard! What are the best slot games to play on MSC for future comps? If you are allowed to say…😊 Meaning,is there particular games to get points faster? I know you mentioned the wheel of fortune game on another cruise line
Anything! It’s just coin in over there and you don’t have to worry about tax forms. The issue with lines and casinos OTHER than MSC is you want to AVOID payouts over $1200 but run the maximum coin through it, hence the wheel of fortune recommendation. Play anything you want for any amount on MSC…..
I've been able to on every MSC ship I've sailed.... just buy split green insurance. Works especially well during the double points hours they run from 10am-11am on some sea days. Normally helps me get feee yacht club.
Like you, I cruise every other week for free, I’m going on my first MSC, I liked your video, but on carnival, double prime is 4 to 1 and pocket pair aces, is 25 to one. Like you I was hoping they would have more side bets and a progressive bet plus carnival has the bad beat bet. Still I’m looking forward to something new plus no W2Gs on slot winnings over $1199. Good luck to you
I loyalty matched my Caesar’s diamond and got gold on MSC. Do you know if they will start kicking up free certificates or do I have to play in the casino to get those free cruises?
@@NoPantsProfits on your simulator can you would you run your newly invented system for like a thousand or so spins too see how it pans out in a long run
about digital roulette game esp. playing by oneself, do ya think the system or #s spin is likely manipulated or gamed for its advantage? may be ok or better to play the digital one when more players play. Also, do ya happen to know if the earned pts on digital roulette game on cruise ships better than the land-based casinos? Thx
So… I’m with you on the machine not being “fair” but the house edge is still there. I believe it’s fair but not enough people play with good strategies. Earned points are similar to Video poker in land based casinos. It’s about 2/3 of what you get for the same coin in on a slot!
@@NoPantsProfits but playing digital roulette or games (say at $5 min/spin) won't likely get you or us free cruise(s), right? when i was on MSC Seascape last yr at the roulette table, i typically bought in $1-2k & bet an avg. $50/hand, but only got offer for a free interior room on a next cruise
I have a free cruise through land based casino. I definitely want to see what msc is about. It does come with drinks in the casino. The best part is no taxes and fees!
If you are on any casino offer you drink free in the casino drinks up to $9…. if you drop a $20 with your first drink…. That $9 limit no longer exists… if you catch my drift!
Thanks for the info going on first MSC cruise the Magnifica soon. Some questions, do your points reset every cruise? If you get 6000 points and redeem for short inside cabin for 5000 points do you have 1000 points left? And are the free cruises for 2 people? Cause on the upgrades chart it says $300 for an extra person or is that for the 3rd / 4th passenger.
Upgrade is for 3rd and 4th only… points reset every cruise. Extra points mean nothing until you reach yacht club comp level… then it’s a few hundred dollars for every 10k extra points. The cruises are for 2 people but I added a 3rd to my upcoming 2 cruises in yacht club for $500 each… that’s a total steal! You don’t need to pay taxes and port fees for the extra person (or it may be built into that $500) upgrade!
Sounds good thank you Richard, That's nice video poker gives you the same 1 point for $3 in as the slots do. Every other casino I've been to video poker usually requires more money in for points than the slots. Looking forward to your review video of the Magnifica. Happy Sailings 🚢
That's the upgrade price from an Aurora Suite.... which the casino qualified me for. @@NoPantsProfits, kind of... thanks. I've never sailed with MSC before and I've got a comped Bella Balcony through UR Comped... I'm thinking of accepting it but I wanna know if I'm leaving money on the table? What would you do?
@@NoPantsProfits soooo, you booked the comped UR Comped offer, turn called MSC to upgrade your existing booking (through URC)? Once you book through URC, aren't you forced to deal directly with them, as a TA? What am I missing? Tks
@@NoPantsProfits im sorry i phrased that wrong. In this video you said you have to play trips. Like it was required to play the hand. It is technically a side bet. Although I agree with you. I play it every hand as well
Just doing some math here. Slots you get 1 point for every $3 played. And a free inside cabin starts at 5000 points. So you have to gamble $15,000 to get that. Not sure what the odds are for these machines on MSC but even assuming 95%, that means you'll lose on average $750 to reach 5000 points. I don't think that's a deal at all. Most short cruise inside cabins are less than that even with a drink package.
So…. Roulette….. 5% house edge…. You can charge to your credit card for free and it’s coded as travel…. I get 3% in credit card rewards as travel charges… edge goes down to 2%. Math is better than your calculations. And that’s if you Don’t know how to play roulette, that’s just pure odds.
@@NoPantsProfits Ah, good point. I forgot that. When I was on the Seaside I couldn't believe that they didn't charge a credit card fee. I felt like maxing all my cards out on chips, walking around for 10 minutes, then cashing them all back in. Lol. Free money (points).
