I now understand why turbo would struggle to find work. His work ethics are bad and customers do not trust him with their valued things plus his temper gets the better of him all the time.

Stoney, you’re a legend mate, it’s a shame you helped a donut like Turbo and I hope you got your cash back, but mate you’re a good hearted bloke and did a bloody good thing. I work with trucks as a pilot and fuel is crippling me, I’ve worked 13 of the last 14 days and spent $120-$150 a night in fuel depending on prices and I don’t get paid for 90 days. It’s tough man.

Thank god those days are gone and so is Turbo.
In my time on the road in the last few years it’s surprising the background of the modern truck driver(Aussie ones I am referring to) I have met in drivers lounges across the country over a meal a real cross section of people from tradies to even an ex accountant that got sick of the office and swapped that life for the nomadic lifestyle of an interstate truck driver.

Turbo is a battler.
I know four fifths of eff all about long haul trucking, ecpecially loading. Even I thought, at the start, that at least half that load should've gone in a secure shipping container. A simple gentle push on the side of that trailer (which was rejected) would've shown it wouldn't take the draft.

Never was a fan of Turbo, but if you're a business man, wouldn't your first reaction when your card is declined be to ring the bank and sort it out? Trying to mooch off customers to pay your business expenses that they're not responsible for wouldn't even cross my mind.
Not sure what its like in Australia, but in America, it's typical for brokers to wait about 30 days to pay. No, it's not their responsibility if I can't cover my business expenses, but its very aggravating that they want their loads delivered quickly, but take their sweet ass time to pay you for your services

Exactly.. if I didn't have the money to put fuel in my car I simply wouldn't go anywhere. Not fill my tank and ask for loans.. what the.... This guy got no shame almost seems entitled to the handout. Wired backwards this human.
@@Shoreliners.1090 Not having money for fuel, and supposedly having the money, but being unable to access it for whatever reason are two completely different things. That's why I said my first call would've been to the bank to sort it out. There's also a big difference between getting fuel for your car to go somewhere you want, and fueling up your company vehicle so you can make money. You'd never survive in business if you just gave up at the first hurdle. You've gotta sort it, but I think he went the wrong way about it.

$1440 for 1000 litres of diesel? I'm math challenged but I think that makes it $1.44 a litre. How old is this program? Here on the Gold Coast it's regularly around $2.10 (often more)

Ffs, i haven't done that much damage over a 20 year period. Furniture does NOT go on an open trailer for obvious reasons. A good operator always carries a back up crexit card.

As a driver ive meet every type....Turbo is 100%, a fruit cake....doesn't anyone remember this man doing jail for owing thousands in Tax....im sure he owes thousands in loans as well that he ran from too. He made it on TV after Outback Truckers on A Current Affairs while an owner reclaimed his truck and equipment that Turbo stopped payments on....yep a real bright spark 😂 Thats not bad luck thats bad business and probably people should stay clear before shaking his hands in business...every episode he is in practicality he is breaking gear and is probably why he is forced to work for himself....his temper is his own worst enemy 😉 putting this bloke on a TV show has created a monster for his ever bloating ego....100% this man is a con 😉 never open your wallet if he gets a wiff of you green he will talk his way to it ...Be interesting to see how Turbo returned to Brisbane on a stolen credit card 💳 😂😂😂😂

The reason why the trailer fell apart because it was loaded backwards. It acts like a ad it ram.
plus the trailer was a piece of rubbish. The side was popping out of it before he left at 3:45. Should have taken a photo and said something. If they don't pay, take it away and keep it till they do.

@@ResortRatata You put a tarp on the trailer, wrap it with 2 straps wound around the back to stop the wind from hitting the door
I used to haul lumber long haul, had a customer that had these weird small bundles of 1" x "' x 4' of aspen, would have to wrap the load to hold the bundles together, real pain to haul, nothing but problems with them

The guy is unhinged.. totally.. he is apparently an operator who basically makes everything up as he goes.. relys on hand-outs to pay for fuel, plus blocks from the pub to help him unload.. his best mate left (smart guy). And wonders why his heart is playing up.. everyone has bills to pay.. simply not having money to fuel the truck would cancel everything too a normal person. Nobody would go ahead and rely on donations to help you out.. what the😮

What person in their right mind would put the furniture on a open deck trailer. TOTAL FLOG IS TURBO. I’m no truck expert but can you just swap trailer’s like that don’t they have different connections
You can swap trailers aound. They all have the same connections.
Majority are all interchangeable. 👍

@@simonknowles4267there is 2 basic connections they use. The first is what’s called the 5th wheel, where there is a pin on the trailer, and the truck reverses under it and locks in on the pin. The second uses a drawbar like you said. The drawbar connects into the back of the front trailer into what looks like a megaphone, and the locks in on a pin.
There also is what’s called a dolly, which will have a drawbar, connects to the front trailer, and then has 4 wheels and a seperate 5th wheel on it so you can back it under the trailer with a pin on it.
Then you get oversize stuff. We haul concrete beams and some drivers prefer to put a dolly on the back of the truck because they don’t push back so hard on the truck like a 5th wheel does.
@@simonknowles4267 no problems Simon. You may have been looking at a "dolly" which has a drawbar that was placed underneath a conventional semi trailer. The dolly is just basically a platform for the turntable which is mounted on the back of the prime mover. Its a device allowing you to attach a second trailer.

Its amazing how many people have formed an opinion and judged turbo from what they see on tv and here on rumour mill so many people quick to judge for all those who judged this guy so harshly wonder what be like if the sho was on the other foot there is two sides to every story unless you ask direct from horses mouth how will you know if youre facts are acurate 🇦🇺
He has the choice too change that opinion. Not paying for trucks and stealing loads is never going too give anyone a good reputation, I've worked with many drivers over the years and none are as careless as him. He knew he didn't have money when he tried to pay for that fuel, and he still hasn't payed back the money the driver loaned him for that fuel. He is that person that gives us truck drivers a bad name, unless your him or one of his mates I don't understand why you think your opinion too defend him would change people's mind. He is a grub

@@user-by6ud8jf5w He was followed by a camera crew who were doing a report about the truck not being paid for, it was unregistered, bald tyres and when approached by the owner he went ballistic and the police were called.
The police would not allow the truck to be moved, Turbo was arrested, bail denied and then a long prison sentence ensued.
The man is a danger to himself and anyone in a 100 kilometer radius.

so much wrong with that load lol. for a start why didnt he tarp the back of the trailer to protect it from wind? any driver would know to do this.. and why wasnt all the furniture and moving stuff either put in a shipping container or tarped up completely to protect it either? im not a long haul or double driver and even i know to do this stuff, ive mostly done cattle and hay etc. its just common sense. also how tf do you fail so badly at strapping a car down even when you have wheel straps.. this guy shouldnt be on the road

Hey turbo is it too easy? Is it too easy turbo? Maybe if you would have loaded the trailer correctly, the walls wouldn't have blown out. So how easy was it turbo??? I've never seen a more incompetent trucker, ever!!!
