Thanks for all the great recipes I've had my big easy going on 10 years now and the family always requests me to cook the Thanksgiving turkey. Love the vids keep em coming.
Thanks Tom. I was wondering, when are you going to do a video that teaches us how to keep our cookers looking new like yours? I put some elbow grease in on a couple of mine this weekend, but they still don't look nice like yours.
This will go on my recipes to try list. I saw the basket on a Big Easy recipe site but forgot to put it on my birthday wish list. It will be on my Father's Day list.
Where did you find that basket? I only see ones without the center rack. I would like to be able to cook on two tiers. Is that an attachment? It's hard to see in the video.
I tried this on my Big Easy 3 in 1 I crunched pork rinds and used garlic salt & pepper low heat with the grill top on lid open untill 120 IT then closed the lid took off about 170 didn't take me long to know why you were so excited about the chicken it was fantastic! thanks for your video!
That basket is so cool Jeff! Man....Colonel Sanders doesn't have anything over you bud! Your taste dance tells the story! Delicious video!! Take care over there!!
Love that chicken, you definitely picked up a nice crunch from that big easy Jeff! Nice idea on the habanero honey too. Nates a really good guy, picked his brain on hot sauces and fermentation a few times. Take care brother!
👍👍Hey Jeff I like that new basket, that shelf the chicken was on is that the leg hanging rack? Was going to order and didn’t see the center rack when ordering. Also I guess you could use the small hanging basket on top ring an cook 8 pieces at once or on bottom and cook 12. 🤷🏼♂️Maybe I’m asking for too much lol.
The center rack was a separate accessory that came with the leg hanger, rib hangers, skewers and other stuff. I think it was less than $20 on amazon for the accessory kit, . Just search for big easy oil less fryer accessories.
Heck yeah man that looks freaking awesome. I got to get my hands on that honey. I'm sure this would work in my airfryer too. It looked great before it went in the cooker. I definitely need to try pork rind breader. 👍👍

That chicken looks great! I've never tried to dry-fry chicken, other than in the oven. I often have pork rinds on hand; I should give this a try while on Corona-vacation. Have you tried a dab of that honey on homemade, buttered biscuits? Stay well and have a great week.
8 to 10 years in that Big Easy. That thing has cooked a bunch of food. That is a good testimonial for that cooker. I've passed by them many times at Academy. This cook may be the one that makes me want one (again). So simple, and best thing no mess from a gallon of expensive oil. The spicy honey sounds real good. Kinda like a dipping sauce for your chicken nuggets. Nate over at White Thurnder BBQ is always another good source for cool recipes. I'm bout ready to try that huli huli again on my kamado. Good one Jeff. Have a Goodern !!
Thanks Phil. I really like Nate's channel. He comes up with some clever stuff. Thanks for the reminder, I want to make rotisserie Huli-Huli- chicken. Stay safe my friend.
If you want a Big Easy SRG which smokes, Roasts & Grills better act fast as Char Broil discontinued that model. It’s still available via Amazon. I love my SRG.
Shark habanero honey..... You had me right there....... Pro-tip, cup of cornstarch cup of water slurry. Let them soak overnight. This works especially well if not battering them them. If you're just dipping them like in a hot wing sauce and they are super crunchy. Thanks Jeff. = )
@@handcannon1388 I like to do bone-in skin-on chicken thighs. And I usually just put them in like a big ziplock bag and put them in the refrigerator, flip them over every once in awhile. The slurry actually looks thin on the chicken. But I like it better than the breading when using a wing sauce it doesn't turn to Mush after 5 minutes because it's all slopped up in the breading. If you're running a smaller batch cut the cornstarch and water back a half a cup, just shake off the excess liquid. That's pretty much it . Enjoy = )
