Yeah, it is actually kinda dark comedy in both the movie and this video game if you think about it what with the underlying ironic tension of that woman in the well struggling for life. I looove the arrangement of goodbye horses. It's even incorporated into Buffalo Bill's theme pretty well.
Man, it must be testimony to the film's creepiness, that this 8 bit version was just as creepy, or a testament to how good you guys are, you never cease to amaze me with what you cook up, wow.
Clarice: DOCTOR LECTOR!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!! Hannibal: SHUT UP AND PUT THE PHONE DOWN, I DON'T WANT PEOPLE KNOWING YOU WERE TALKING TO ME, OR I'LL VISIT YOU AFTERALL!!!!!
***** You gotta be fucking kidding me. Could you please go to some website, download a NES emulator and see how damn limited that console was? You'd need at least a SNES to do this kind of thing, 100%!!!
ok bro...ok...I am well aware of how limited 8-bit was compared to the SNES...And these videos aren't even done on any console like the NES or SNES...the guys that make these videos use some other kind of program, don't know which one, but it's not any of the before mentioned classic consoles..
***** I did not say they made the videos using said consoles. I said the NES would not be able to make work this kind of game, you would need at least a SNES or some old 16-bit PC
Miggs was the hero of the movie. Had he not shared his love nectar with Clarice, Hannibal wouldn't have helped her and Buffalo Bill would have never been caught.
I see that you have referenced Halloween here. I was there on opening day of the film. It was Valentine's Day, 1991, and still the best comedy in history. BTW, this is brilliant!
I like the look of this video. I would play a game as an FBI agent looking for serial killers, with a "Metal Gear Solid" engine (the inventory, using the flashlight to inspect boxes or small spaces, the top down, maze like levels).
dear cinefix I am huge fans of your work all I ask is that you make a 8-bit cinema of man of steel, the wolverine & x-men days of future past! if you do those I will love you guys even more and spread the word about you guys so please please please! make them I would love to see them, from your biggest fan rockingtheblade.
I'm glad this exists because every time this movie comes on, I miss the whole goddamn thing and I'm basically at the ending where she's caught by Lecter. Never knew what the fuck this movie was ever about. Still gonna watch it eventually.
If you told me "Silence of the Lambs meets Metal Gear" I would of kicked you in the shins. But seeing it played out it is fantastic. I would play the shit out of this game.
The biggest problem when these are done, is they don't maintain consistent pixel sizing, and movement is too fluid -- when objects move, they need to align to the pixel grid. That being said, this was still entertaining to watch.
actually, Clarice wasn't given any objective with her first interview with Hannibal and they- Senator- were apprehensive at first with Hannibal helping. Crawford thought if she knew she was interviewing him for help, Hannibal would see right through it.
i recognized some of those 8 bit sprites and character portraits. Agent Starling's was recycled from the NES version of Deja Vu. That was the hooker who kills you.
thats weird, in my subscription feed alltime10s channel has a top 10 horror movies video right above this one with the jodi foster movie poster with the butterfly covering the mouth, coincidence?!?!?!?!?
If they made an actual video game now, I bet it would be rated M....crispin freeman or mark Hamill I think would be a great buffalo bill. J Michael Tatum or Todd Haberkorn/Nolan North/James Arnold Taylor as Hannibal Lecter, and maybe even Tara Strong/Grey DeLisle/that woman who voices Elizabeth in Bioshock/Briana Palencia as Clarice Starling. How awesome would that be? Any other voice actor suggestions (besides those) would be good.
That buffalo bill dance in 8 bit is hilarious
Yeah, it is actually kinda dark comedy in both the movie and this video game if you think about it what with the underlying ironic tension of that woman in the well struggling for life. I looove the arrangement of goodbye horses. It's even incorporated into Buffalo Bill's theme pretty well.
Enjoy a round or two of this game with fava beans and a nice Chianti.
This is a truly original concept, and it's remarkably well-made
Man, it must be testimony to the film's creepiness, that this 8 bit version was just as creepy, or a testament to how good you guys are, you never cease to amaze me with what you cook up, wow.
Damn that is pretty good
" your Lecter is in another prison. "
lol
Awesome video! Great working with you guys.. Love the channel :D
Right back at ya!
You got them another sub!
Hannibal Lector: I'm having old friend for dinner. Goodbye Clarice.
Clarice Starling: Doctor Lector. Doctor Lector.
Clarice: DOCTOR LECTOR!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!!! DOCTOR LECTOR!!!!!!
Hannibal: SHUT UP AND PUT THE PHONE DOWN, I DON'T WANT PEOPLE KNOWING YOU WERE TALKING TO ME, OR I'LL VISIT YOU AFTERALL!!!!!
no 8 bit rendition of good bye horses?
bahhh... still good.
I came here just for that
I love these 8-bit versions of movies! The 8-bit music is really spot-on too! It really does take me back to the late 80s- early 90s when I was a kid!
It is not 8-bit at all, it is 90% 16-bit on everything!
***** I love those too! But this "Silence of the Lambs" is definitely 8-bit...
***** You gotta be fucking kidding me. Could you please go to some website, download a NES emulator and see how damn limited that console was? You'd need at least a SNES to do this kind of thing, 100%!!!

they should make all these into one big 8bit game!!
I love the 8-bit rendition of 'Goodbye Horses'!
Channels like this make the internet worth living imo
I haven't seen a lot of these movies in years, now I can watch them in 5 minutes, AWESOME
LOVED the censorship for "I can smell your....."
Great episode :)
when it's edited for TV he says "I can smell your scent"
2:00 should be "worst", not "worse". You fly back to school now, Cinefix. Fly fly fly...
hahaha
Matt Tuckey no you first
Seriously you’re gonna nitpick something this well made...? You really don’t have a life do you
@@nicolebriant98 It is otherwise really well made. They don't teach animation in primary school... but they do teach grammar.
ehehehhe
I definitely noticed influence from Metal Gear and Fester's Quest in this one.
goodbye horses 8 bit 1:55 - 2:28
The fact that you’re using images from Deja Vu is glorious. My favorite NES game of all time!
Miggs was the hero of the movie. Had he not shared his love nectar with Clarice, Hannibal wouldn't have helped her and Buffalo Bill would have never been caught.
Dang, now I have a craving to want to see this movie again.
This video gives me some ideas for Halloween recipes :)
Tasted is it liver? i hate liver.... i do like chianti though
Both of you are delicious, even without fava beans. All kidding aside, this was really enjoyable.
CineFix Can I have some flava beans on the side?
Even included the 8 bit Goldberg variations. Was not disappointed,
Thank you guys so much for this 8-bit styled version of this horror movie.
The Goodbye Horses mangina dance really made me chuckle. Well done to all involved!!!
One of the best so far! You should totally do 2001 a space oddesey

I love the 8 bit version of goodbye horses!!
I really like the music at the basement
I see that you have referenced Halloween here. I was there on opening day of the film. It was Valentine's Day, 1991, and still the best comedy in history. BTW, this is brilliant!
0:36 you just had to do Hannibal like that. Come on, man.
We need to have an 8 bit cinema of the incredible hulk
"Have the lambs stop screaming?"
Fiddling around with the playback speed - slow down for a more dramatic feel, turn speed up for a more hectic, psychopathic vibe.
3:10 good tune
I like the look of this video. I would play a game as an FBI agent looking for serial killers, with a "Metal Gear Solid" engine (the inventory, using the flashlight to inspect boxes or small spaces, the top down, maze like levels).
Absolutely brilliant.
I would love for them to make an actual game for a movie. Someone PLEASE give them the rights and money.
you should do 8-Bit Fargo and that would be awesome!
Oh, the nostalgia! Incredible work - keep 'em coming, please!
I was kind of hoping when Clarice went under the storage unit door that she would sustain minor damage on her health meter.
@2:28 The best part, lol XD
I love the silence of the lambs theme 8 bit version it’s cool!
dear cinefix I am huge fans of your work all I ask is that you make a 8-bit cinema of man of steel, the wolverine & x-men days of future past! if you do those I will love you guys even more and spread the word about you guys so please please please! make them I would love to see them, from your biggest fan rockingtheblade.

Never knew what the fuck this movie was ever about.
Still gonna watch it eventually.
MaoKittyMaoMao It's on Netflix
You should it's a really good movie.
Love the music
this explained more than the movie did
Nicely done.
If you told me "Silence of the Lambs meets Metal Gear" I would of kicked you in the shins. But seeing it played out it is fantastic. I would play the shit out of this game.
This was so awesome! Congrats!
Awesome & Perfect. Great job all! Love it.
Clarice is just as awesome as Dana Scully.
Awesome! I can feel the whole movie there (wich is masterpiece)!
0:46...Jesus christ it got real
Game Over -- your liver just got eaten with some fava beans and a nice Chianti 😎
I always thought a Hannibal/Pac-Man game would be fun.
The biggest problem when these are done, is they don't maintain consistent pixel sizing, and movement is too fluid -- when objects move, they need to align to the pixel grid. That being said, this was still entertaining to watch.
Another awesome 8-bit. :)
this si so nostalgic
very well done
Awesome video the music was on point
There was once a story about a guy with the longest youtube name YAY!
Thank You Clarice, but our serial killer is in another house.
Nice work!

Matched the music well...
Im binging on 8bit Cinema! love it
great JOB!!
That was HILARIOUS!
it's dangerous to go alone. Take this moth cocoon

Wow - not an easy one to do re: incorporating story line...excellent work!
Neverending Story?
so good
This was good
actually, Clarice wasn't given any objective with her first interview with Hannibal and they- Senator- were apprehensive at first with Hannibal helping. Crawford thought if she knew she was interviewing him for help, Hannibal would see right through it.
You could have included '88 Games for the first level.
P. S do Eraserhead, Blue Velvet or Twin Peaks... something... "Lynchy"
Love the vids.
2:42 - Building from Uncle Fester's Quest :)
Oh, and then a bunch more of that map afterwards ... ;)
this is a riot!
I would love to see an 8-bit version of the movie Akira
Real cool! Well done!
and yeah, I will tell them that I ..
I Just finished watching this movie 30 minutes ago
i recognized some of those 8 bit sprites and character portraits. Agent Starling's was recycled from the NES version of Deja Vu. That was the hooker who kills you.
You're a genius
Love it.
Awesome
Brilliant
Please do The Wolf of Wall Street. Epic scenes I'll like to see in 8 bit. Please.
Uncle Fester's Quest at 2:50
So awesome!!! Could you do Reservoir Dogs or X-Men DOFP? Anyway keep up the great work!
Jor-El of Krypton MAAAAAAYBE. :)
Am I the only one who noticed that Hannibal Lector is the bum from Deja Vu?
Make a pacific rim one it's gonna be awesome if you guys do this thanks
I'm guessing the original Metal Gear had some inspiration in this :)
thats weird, in my subscription feed alltime10s channel has a top 10 horror movies video right above this one with the jodi foster movie poster with the butterfly covering the mouth, coincidence?!?!?!?!?
This one was great. Just in time for Halloween.... hey.. have you guys done the original Halloween in 8Bit?
zone07 we have not! so many movies left to game! lol
Flannery Monaghan-Morrs John DiMaggio as Buffalo Bill!
I don't know what is scarier, Lector in the movie, or in the video game. XD
movie
AWESOME! Did I detect some fester's quest graphics too? :)
Yehh!! My fav. movie redone my fav. way.
