I found another solution just with tissue paper. No need of UV light and no frequent water change. It works well for me for last 3 months. If interested, you may watch video

Bless. This is exactly what I needed. I've had a 40 gallon bow tank for over 10 years. I got so used to seeing it clear all the time. Now I upgraded to a 55 gallon tank and I noticed it was slightly cloudy for the last two days. I panicked for a bit since I hadn't been at this point for a very long time haha. Thank you so much!!!

I’m so glad I found this video! I have recently upgraded my tank, and I thought I had seeded it correctly, but boy was I wrong. My ammonia tests came back at 8ppm after the weekend I’m not sure how all my fish survived!! 😖 I immediately did a water change, and will be testing every other day. Hopefully it will all be under control in the next month or so

I've never had this with a tank before. Changed products for my starting bateria. Cycled the tank. Added srock then look like milk got poured in! Thank goodness I found this video. Been freaking out.

Thank you! I was so worried because I used an older fish tank I had but I washed it with soap and water. I also rinsed the old decorations with hot water and used brand new rocks that I also rinsed and I thought I did something wrong, but thank you!!

This helped me out tremendously. I have a 125g tank that I just set up and it looked fantastic on the first day. I added the first dose of Seachem Stability and woke up with the cloudy water the next morning. Now on the 3rd day, it still looks bad but at least I can see the back of the tank now. I've got some Tetra test strips and plan on getting an API Master Freshwater kit but I'm planning on letting it run its course and wait to put fish in.
So grateful for this extremely informative video.

Absolutely spot on. I've done too much instead of being patient and the bloom keeps coming back. Nearly used water clarifier as well. Now I'm just testing water for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate daily plus weekly water changes (unless there Ammonia and Nitrite goes above 0ppm). Also bought gravel vac to help clean my sand substrate. I was also confused by some sources saying bacterial bloom only lasts 1-2 days whichi is not true.

And now Mildred is with me. I cleaned my first time today and i think i did pretty good, i started getting nervous about the water because it looked almost a tad bit cloudy. Same problem I have right now with my "NEW" 50gal fish tank. I wonder why it gets cloudy with just 4 fish swimming around. At first, I use 600L/hr pump which is weak but I replaced it with 2500L/hr submersible pump. I still have a cloudy aquarium in day 3.
I dont know what to do, until I watch this video. This really make sense. "Doing nothing is better than doing something" I will let it sit and do less feeding for now, and allow itself to cycle.
