Smart car, tie downs with wheel straps
You need some of those walkin cooler clear flaps for your side door
Do some E-track on the smart car lift, then you can go over the tires making it easier to strapndown. You can also use it as a guide to make sure the car is in the same spot every time.
Would it be easier to house extra parts and tools on the lifts and park the vehicles underneath? That way you can still hold all your extras/ spares in the trailer but don't have to offload them to lower the lifts and get the vehicles out. Seems like either way they'll take up the same space vertically but switching the parts to the top of the lift might be beneficial. Mostly for the forward lift/ smart car if it fits in front of the dragster
My goodness.. What a trailer... What a rig! Congrats Greg!
You ever need any assistance with the Cummins Onan generator in that trailer get ahold of me I work directly for the factory!👍🏻👍🏻
Man! That trailer is crazy! I cant imagine being able to buy something like that for work/hobby. Its is completely next level.
Congrats man! Ive been binge watching your videos for the past several weeks. I even stumbled onto one from 6 years ago! Youve been at the for a while. Glad that you are seeing the fruits of your hard work!
I honestly liked his old videos better, he seemed more genuine back then, now it's all about the next bigger thing. Not really about the love of wrenching anymore. Idk maybe I am just hating a bit because I will never have half of this shit.
The preheat on your gen is not just for “pre-heating”. It runs the fuel pump and primes the system as well. Onan recommends to prime it for 10 seconds before it’s started as well.
Came here to say that
loving all these uploads!! Makes my night at work go by fast!
Drum style weld on tie downs. With a binder bar
Get you a rare earth magnet to find the wall studs. Had to do that when I added tie downs on the side of mine
Overkills underrated. Strap it to the frame for sure. If nothing else the peace of mind will be worth it.
Man how exciting!!! This is badass!! Very happy for all you fellas, what a dream! 1 more massive step taken in the great plan 🤩🙌 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Your smart car seems a little ..........Excited.
should look at a auto carrier way they strap down.
Love the "Save the Manuals" shirts y'all got! Perfection. 👌 I tell you true, I had a crackhead (most likely) break into my 2nd Gen Dodge when it was sitting at a Hotel I was staying at during my time at the Trucking Academy, and the only reason it didn't get stolen was because the idiot apparently had no clue how to drive stick, and/or couldn't manipulate the ignition.
First they bent the door panel inwards underneath the driver's side door handle, and were able to push up on the lock (so perhaps a slightly more sophisticated thief than your average crackhead) to gain entry.
Then they tore off the plastic shroud surrounding the steering column and ignition, the plastic bits of the ignition switch, and screwed up the ignition itself by trying to turn it with a flathead screwdriver, likely how they "saw it in the movies." 😂
Unfortunately when I asked the front desk staff if they'd seen or heard anything, or could check the security footage for me, they stonewalled me at every turn, and one was acting pretty sus. I ended up not having the time to call the police myself because I was due back at the academy to get everything wrapped up after my 6 weeks OTR period with my trainer. I should have gone back later and found out who was responsible though. Hindsight I guess...
Anyway, at least they didn't get my truck in the end. Imagine if it had been an automatic transmission push-to-start truck...actually I don't want to imagine that. 😂
Edit note: on the "Save the Manual" t-shirt page, the word "Manual" is misspelled "Maunal" in the description right underneath the orange "add to cart" button.
Also, sorry for the essay lol. It just popped into my head when I saw the shirt and it's kind of burning me right now thinking about it.
At some point wouldn't it be beneficial to have say a 500 gallon diesel barrel at the house rather than always chasing after diesel fuel or before going on a road trip having to go get fuel
That’s what I did for my service truck. That way I only right one check a month for fuel instead of smoking my credit card every month. Plus my dually and Jetta are Diesel so…they get can get fuel when I use them for company use…
Typically also a few cents cheaper then in town
@@justinhermsen8653 it’s is cheaper but only $.10-15/gallon but my Ram 5500 gets 8.5-9 mpg so I’ll take the discount. Lol.
Could build some sort of a fuel trailer to do all the projects at once.
But then you can't stop at the gas station for snacks and energy drinks. Completely defeats the purpose of a road trip.
You boys have too much fun! Love the content!
Car hauler straps that go over the tires.
I would put E track on the lift floor to secure the Smart car.
Totally agree and then step the tires with tire steps.
The trailer is sick!!! Can’t wait to see it all loaded and ready to roll!! 🔥🔥👊🏻
Trailer is freaking amazing hell yeah
To win that on my birthday would be a blessing.. I'll be 42 on Monday
Back to back videos 🔥
One of my favorite giveaway vehicles. Fingers crossed
You guys really need to reach out to MAC’s and get custom tiedowns made. You will
Not find a better product. I have a bunch for my trailers and love them.
Just finished the video, and saw the ones from your dyno. Those are macs. And amazing. They can do wheel nets to whatever size tire. And would be a really good option for the smart car.
My man, time to figure out some more/better parking! Can’t even see the front of the shop no more lol
#goals
love the new trailer
Man I had hoped to get some merch and enter the raffle but with my luck being what it is, I'm in too tight a spot right now. I am really sorry. That would be a dream for me and would be everything i need to go back to work. But hey, maybe next time. Best of luck to the winner. And that new trailer you got. wooowee it's magnificent. I would like to see how you get the bedroom area set up for comfort. Like what will you add for creature conforts? Stove? Microwave fridge etc etc. Do you plan on outfitting it with it's own tools and equipment? or just move it back and forth from your shop?
Why not get tire straps and go over the tires. Make mounting locations in front and behind each tire.
And still the same skinny driveway for giant trailers. Widen the driveway someday might save Pete bumpers. Just a thought.
Hola amigo cómo estás saludos acá de Austin tx Freddy Delgado nice video nice trailer ánimo see you next video
Looking good!!
Invest in tire tie down for the vehicles
Greg more excited about the trailer than his first born😂
Shoulda put e track on the front lift at the center of the wheel width so you coulda just strapped it down that way.
I was an enclosed auto transporter and can give you some advice on where to put tie downs for the car and truck
8 point tie downs for a rollback wrecker would work perfect for the smart car
That generator sounds like my grandparents John Deere 1026r.
@TxOFFICIAL_GREG_ALBERALLA did you know I know 2 Greg’s. What do you want to talk about?
E track with basket straps for the smart car will fix your problems
So sick
Nice unit Greg 👍🇺🇸
Why did the lifts not have e-track pre-installed? I would have disappointed that the lifts didn’t have brakes or some sort of locks built in to prevent them from moving because I’ve seen car lifts in trailer that have them. I’ve never seen a lift that has to be strapped down. Other than that it’s a really nice trailer setup.
Ever think of tire straps for the smart car?
I love your videos
Probably break in oil brother lots of new engines have it for specific number of hours
E-track and a strap over the tires and you’ll be set man.
business must be aboomin! :)
"Unrelease" a strap. ... wouldn't that be leaving it tight?????
Cnc time make. Your tye Downs custom
Hope this doesn’t take as long as the drag truck has!! J/K!!
Wrench works graphics side of trailer
i already have a project planned for it if i win it
very nice trailer setup ! who is the vendor / manufacturer ?
Vintage in Elkhart Indiana
So I'm a car hauler, I drive a 9 car peterbilt stinger. You want to have about a fist hight of space for the car.
Can u do a give away truck in automatic
Whose red Jetta?
4bt swap the smart car
Why is Greg's voice keep cracking?
LMAO!!!
You need some Matt’s Straps. @Mattsoffroadrecovery
