It’s been a while since I stopped by. I don’t know where your partner went, but that was a great reaction dude. I hadn’t heard of this band, but they were awesome. I’m not a huge jazz fan, but I could listen to this stuff all day long. Each one of them were masterful with their instruments, to way beyond that of a Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton level of playing. Believe me, I don’t say that nonchalantly, as I’m a diehard fan of both of those giants. I just meant that these musicians are a next level group of musicians, and putting them together made it an incredible journey through jazz that I couldn’t help but love. I’ve got some catching up to do. I haven’t been here in months, (health issues,) since you critiqued the ‘Foxes and Fossils’ band, but I will get caught up. I enjoy your critiques because you guys fit right in to my generation, even though I’m one more behind you (I survived the 60’s and 70’s 😁)
Speaking of the F&F band, you critiqued their cover of Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, (which of course they did masterfully,) and I was wondering if you went and spent any time looking around on their channel? I had been listening to them for a long time, and I was really happy to see your critique of them because I think they are one of the best cover bands I’ve ever seen. If not, go check out Tim’s cover of Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’. Amazing!

Welcome back! You didn't miss much as we have also not put out videos in a while. Doug is taking a step back for now, working behind the scenes and on himself. I posted a video last week explaining the reasons for his absence. So for now, you're stuck with just me! 🙂

@@UnhingedReactions , thanks for the reply. I will check out the video from last week, but you’re just fine on your own. I think you’ve got really similar taste in music to my own, even though we may differ occasionally on some things. You do a great job of being partial, and that’s what is needed to be successful in your job.
Hey, I happened to stumble across a young lady, and I do mean young, she was 12 when I first heard her, and she has got the most beautiful voice I have heard in forever. She’s barely 14 now as of last month, and she is definitely going to be a name to watch. I have a feeling that she’s going to be a chart topper, and soon. She became my favorite female singer the first time I heard her sing, and nothing like that has ever happened to me in my whole life. I didn’t even know how to react, 😂. She loves classic rock, and half of the songs she performs are from our era. She loves the Beatles especially, but as you’ll notice, there’s a hundred other classic bands she loves. I just thought you might enjoy listening to her too. I don’t mean as a reaction, though you are certainly free to do so on any song of hers that you want, but I really just thought you’d enjoy watching her. She has an incredible lower register, and a natural vibrato that she controls beautifully. She plays piano, guitar, (acoustic and electric,) bass, and ukulele, on top of the incredible voice. She is only at the rhythm guitar stage right now, but learning quickly. Her piano skills are off the charts though.
I’ll give you a couple of links, and you can poke around from there. Her name is Emily Linge (pronounced Ling-uh, the e isn’t silent) and she lives in Dubai, born and raised there. Her mom was a professional singer and the studio you will see is a full-blown recording studio right in their home. Let me know what you think after you’ve had a chance to listen to her. Here’s Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Songbird’, and IMHO, she sounds just like Christine McVie: ruclips.net/video/zhwrL8oYGSU/видео.html
And now I’m taking you back to when she was just barely 12. Note the lower register and vibrato control, even at that age. Funny thing is, this was one of my favorite songs when it came out, and I was 12! 😊 The Hollies ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’ ruclips.net/video/YfVzGKIbQ7o/видео.html

Please react to "Tina S. ", Playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, 3rd Movement on electric guitar. She is a French guitar prodigy playing like this at 17 yrs old. She also covers Dragon Force, Steve Vai, Jason Becker and EVH.
    Thanks!
