Thank you for the helpful video and pointers on building the same grill just got it and I like your idea about spraying it with the high heat temperature paint I’m doing that first thing before I ever fire it up also the cover is rather thin I have a much better padded cover to put on it overall I’m pretty pleased with the way it’s turning out it’s a clever idea if you have a fire pit and a grill in one cool idea worth the money.-Except for that cheap paint looks thin like they sprayed it with ink from a calligraphy ink pen set l
It’s been great. No complaints from anyone. I tip it up and roll it out to a corner in the yard and hose it down. A piece of cardboard scoops out cold ashes best to get rid of the bulk before a good rinsing.
question. what did you end up using to cover between fires? cause that cover is crap... i know mine the handle went right thru it. . Ive tried a tarp but the handle did the same thing.. i'm thinking about get a pool noodle and covering the handle before useign the tarp.
The cover died long ago and I never replaced it. We have a beach house on the Texas gulf coast and I moved it there. The air is filled with salt and it attacked this thing as usual. It’s a rusty mess but it works.
Yup very negative, drilled some hole, put slag on the bottom, inch layer of sand, been using it for about 5 years, used for neighborhood bonfires most weekends during covid, with neighbors. Use the sliding grill to keep hot sandwiches spiked hot cider etc it has been great the cover just split this year. Best fire pit ever had. Paint it every other year. Still having bonfires most weekends. Never use the clerical holder, but the braces hold the wood very well live in Michigan.
Thank you for making this video! My fire pit did not come with instructions, so your video was a huge time saver!
Had a blast installing this with you! Thanks bro 🤝🏾

@@dirtyshirtinfo good to know that even when rusted it will still be good
I would feel alot safer with a gun too if I got that fire pit
Annoying
Omg, so negative 🤮
You must be a liberal. I’ll bet it’s a bitch to find heels for those man feet. 👠
@@dirtyshirtinfo You just start bitching and complaining about it before you even open the box. Wow, you're an idiot times twelve.
