I lived in old house once & the plastic really made a difference. In the summer, it's easy to install the ac back in the window. Take care

I like it. It is old school wall paneling but seems clean. I rented most of my life Own our home now though. I take the a/c out of window or have landlord do it and put in shed and have them reinstall in late spring. If not buy installation and put over it on inside, then get an insulation type drape/curtain. Could take Styrofoam and make a case on outside like a box and duct tape it to seal it. If you cannot do any of that you can put a quilt over window, or bubble wrap under regular curtain.
