Anything worthwhile in this video has been in use for decades.
If you are watching these videos at single speed you are already losing. 1.5 speed minimum, unless English is not your first language. Trust me.
some of it at 1.75 or even 2x
Just changed my speed .. thanks for that
😅😅😅 Surprised by how true this is.

I hope your pillow is cold asf tonight @tempeff8670
Reaching for the Stars: The Unstoppable Evolution of Construction Technologies!
The US Army Air Corps used connected metal mats for runways during WWII.😊
Air Force was using aluminum matting in the 80s and 90s for Rapid Runway Repair
I used scrap plywood bits on the construction site@@Tonyrd3000
Those mats that make roads, the British military has had that idea for decades!
The guys that came and trimmed the trees in my yard used them so they would not put 'ruts' in my yard from the bucket truck.
Funnily enough, the British Military have been using our MaxiTrack mats too!
@@user-wb4yq2hb2o Exactly! :)
Lots of this stuff reminds me off spray foam insulation in people lofts.
All great for a few years until the damp starts rotting your home from the rafters to skirting boards.
Much of this stuff will not make it into the majority of the homes being built and will be overpriced to buy and install.
By far the best material or invention ive seen in the last 30 years is Ytong blocks. Strong water proof insulated blocks that glue together. Fast effective and very easy to add cables and piping.
Ytong as in AAC? That stuff is century old... adding the 'handles' and cuts to fit the blocks removing verical glueing is hardly game changer.
3:50 rectolight is formwork for concrete poured floors, it's not the structural part of the floor people.
Finally a new vid, better go grab my popcorn
Really great technology
12:30 ...that effectively keeps out the cold in winter, and the heat in, in summer? Why would you want to keep the heat in in summer? Wouldn't you want to keep the heat OUT in summer?
Not if you're below the equator, opposite season and temperatures than the northern hemisphere . Depending where you live for Closer to the poles, you might want keep your heat in during the "summer months".
Most of this nice advances but won't hold up to time, or will cost more than large builders will pay, so the majority homes won't have it. Then you have replacing it when it life span wears out increased costs because the new company is long gone.
Example, we have this great CPVC/PVC piping (big swap in the 1980's)that will and has been getting more brittle with age, compared to if they had run same old cast iron drain piping, that stuff will out live their grand kids for its service life.
Not that people are thinking or care about their new home surviving and not needing rebuilt for several generations later, if they get a cheaper price. Much like if you put on slate rock roof instead of cheap asphalt shingles.
Gone are the days where people think about their kids and grand kids living the same place and make better life from it.
Obviously someone didn't proof-read their script!
It's a bit like saying; "Heads I win, tails you lose!"
good work
I need try them mates 😮😊
Really great❤❤❤❤❤
those construction workers poor lungs after cutting all that fiberglass rebar
Plastic pipe is a joke if you have rats and mice around. They love chewing on the pipes. Imagine the damage caused when that lot in the roof let go!
Didn’t think of vermin just all them stupid fittings and the plasterer screwing through them. Some dope run my broadband through an air vent after prying the vent off. You guessed it no internet 👍🇦🇺
16:21
😊,,
I agree with you if they’re exposed, here plastic pipes are put inside concrete (cement) floors (in floor heating).
We used moon mats like that, great on dry day. Mudd no good. Ended up with big wood pallet like worked out well... Great idea tho
I have seen these mats used as aircraft runways for C-130 & AC-130 gun ship aircraft since these aircraft do not need improved runways to operate. Could those roof panels be covered with architectural shingles?
Rapid Runway Repair has been using aluminum mats like that fence at least the 80s
So the Borjatherm roof insulation keeps cold out in the winter and heat IN in the summer? lol?
"highest global temperature every recorded"
gave up right there.
12:34 I sure as hell wouldn't install a roof that keeps the heat in during the summer if you have external temperatures of 60c/140f!
Have you heard AC unit that keeps interior cool and more insulation on house envelope would make it cheaper to use.
I had to rewind to make sure I heard that right lol
They didn't mention that the 60 degree C temp was how hot the land got, not the air temp.
@@OneWildTurkey Thank you, I knew that couldn't be right
Obviously someone didn't proof-read their script!
It's a bit like saying; "Heads I win, tails you lose!"
instead of plastic ground mats, people often use sheets of plywood or even steel plate.
Now they can also use plastic - everything is switching to plastic but now that fossil fuels are such an 'evil' thing, where will they get plastic from? mushrooms? hahaha
Nowadays, plastic can be extracted from the oceans, where there is an abundance of plastic.
@@dannyverhamme7970 🙂
@@OneWildTurkey You're right that many people use plywood or steel plates for temporary ground protection. The plastic trackway mats we provide offer a more sustainable alternative made from recycled materials.
The plastic in our mats is not new plastic, but recycled from waste electrical cables and wire insulation that would otherwise end up in landfill. By upcycling this recycled plastic into our ground protection mats, we're able to give it a second life and reduce waste. This helps make our mats a greener option compared to new plastic from fossil fuels.
@@GroundGuards That sounds really good. I hope your customers understand and get involved with the strategy. All too often, reusable items are considered single use and have more importance as a line item on an invoice instead of part of a heavy duty tool kit.
Why use plastic when it's cheaper to use rubber-matting made from recycled tyres?
You know you have a flat earther if they are surprised that snow might fall in July in South Africa.
Hay mucho trabajo por realizar
Pipelife CDP-400 is ok for cooling but would be worthless for heating since its in the ceiling and heat rises...
My concern about using it for cooling would be condensation dripping on you.
Pls do more stuff like that! Never miss the new uploads
12:32 "keeps out the cold in winter and the heat IN in summer"...should it not also keep the heat OUT in summer?🤔
haha I was going to make the same comment
Obviously someone didn't proof-read their script!
It's a bit like saying; "Heads I win, tails you lose!"
Keeps in the heat in summer....does not sound right. Lol😅
I need try them mates
Fiberglass rebar... How about intense temperature hot or cold... How about fire and melting?
TEC ZONE YOU SURE COME TO KNOW THE INVENTIONS ABOUT
At 1:37 ........how do you mitigate the DEW point in an Open Space system......AKA water condensation that drips from the pipes...??????????
We really are a simulation Im convinced we’re divided in sectors much like Disney World 😂
*WACKO*
The first one with the mats is not a new idea or technology. PSP, or 'Pierced Steel Planking' was used extensively during WWII to build island airstrips
While plastic trackway mats are not entirely new, they do offer key benefits over steel plates. Plastic mats are made from recycled materials, making them a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option that reduces waste. They are also lightweight and easy to install without heavy machinery, providing a practical solution for temporary ground protection. Our mats are designed and built to last for repeated use over many years, saving money compared to single-use options.
Old news we all around the world have as well still need special skills
Where is this other "level" folks keep talking about. I don't think it's actually a thing.
12:34 keeps the heat in, ''in summer''. WTF!!!!
yeah, no way spain had temperatures of 60C when the highest global temperature every recorded was 56C in furnace creek lol
ummmm @ 12:30 - "it effectively keeps the Cold OUT in WINTER and the HEAT IN during the SUMMER" ????!!!!!?!?!? REALLY????!!!! Don't you think there MIGHT be something wrong with this statement?? ... So your house stays warm in the Winter and HOT in the SUMMER????? - WHY WOULD I WANT THIS FOR MY HOME????? lol
Came here looking for this. Also, there's no way those concrete "lego" blocks are only 210 kilos. That's only 463 pounds.
stanno sempre a n'artro livello
'..keeps the cold out in winter and heat in, in summer' the heat in... In summer, help me understand please
3s printing has made these techniques obsolete
12:33 so it keeps the temperature IN in summer..........and why the hell would anyone want that?
I show these to my grandma when she falls asleep, better than coffee
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
absurd pricing for gimmicks
@12:30 why would I want to keep the heat in, during summer? lol bad script for the A.I.?
$294 a mat and I guarantee I can lay a whole highway of asphalt before they can to a parking lot of mats plus I'll do it 100000% cheaper
The cost per mile of the average road is in the millions FYI
But will you be able to re-use it elsewhere in future? These mats are designed be laid and re-laid time and time again.
@@GroundGuards just like your mom
@@GroundGuards Asphalt can be recycled easily.
Yeah specially work
1:55 notice how he doesn't say anything about water mitigation for condensate when it's cooling that's too too because it definitely ain't meant for any humid area mean United States all speculation
highest temp ever recorded where?.. because I'll bet that's not entirely true
Might want to open your ears.
Highest average temperature recorded is NOT the same as highest temperature recorded. 🙄
@@illbetherejk3212 might want to observe the fossil record.. it was 77 (norm this time of year is lower 90f with the record high of 110 in 1936 here in Omaha.. it must have been all those carbon spewing horses👍) degrees the day they announced that bullshit so please tell me again how averaging a temperature works because I'll raise you a entire fossil record including vast fields of ice, a ocean a desert and now a high plains.. I could average out your intelligence but why.. we both know it's low.. but hey thanks for stopping by
Guess what u still need skilled workers to do it.
SEEMS PATCHWORK TO AN IMPROVISED CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM.
0:00 its a prototype or cost to much, didnt see anywhere.
2:57 Dont use it ever in construction, concrete with metal can withstand a load of 2.8 ton! Concrete with durabar only 1.3 ton!!!!
The rest is sometimes use some times not. But it wain use in years, so not super new.
Moreover
this is not well edited. the second invention was not explained fully nor was there any back story or video footage of the product in real time usage.
Tarea 17
If you’ve that many rats and mice get an exterminator in wtf are you going on about
My mom is work this
Only if u had enough workers no one would fall
Heating the ceiling..how stupid is this.
Bad enough with the heat naturally rising to the ceiling using normal heater or AC systems!
Maybe they're trying to heat the floor upstairs?
09:45 $10.50 per piece? Are you kidding me? This in production islike $0.04! Such a rip of just because it is patented. Go buy that from China lol :D
Those floating dock squares are garbage remakes of much better systems at 4x the cost. Ridiculous.
lol I call BS on the 60c temp, that would make it deadlier than Death Valley, which has never been surpassed in Temp!
t
-34 degree in catalonia and 60 degree somewhere else? NOPE all lies...

Stupid priced materials. No thnx!
Backstop that crap with building codes, so we can never afford them. Show me a sewer pipe you're renovating next

Intro music is way too high, disproportionate to the content. Please fix this. It is jarring, and annoying.
12:10 Extremadura temps? 60 ºC / 140F??? Absolutely false. You must be out of your mind to suggest that!
The highest ever registered temperature in Spain was 47,6 ºC @ La Rambla (Córdoba), el 14 de agosto de 2021
The highest temp during 2023 was registered the day 10 of August at Valencia airport, 46,8 ºC
You must be out of your mind! 60 ºC? Nowhere!
Highest temperatures ever recorded
Currently, the highest officially registered temperature is 56.7C (134F), recorded in California’s Death Valley back in 1913. The hottest known temperature in Africa is 55C (131F), recorded in Kebili, Tunisia in 1931. Iran holds the record for Asia’s hottest official temperature of 54C (129F), which it recorded in 2017.
The highest temperature ever recorded in Europe was 48.8C (119.8F) on the Italian island of Sicily on August 11, 2021. On July 19, 2022, The United Kingdom recorded its highest-ever temperature, reaching 40.2C (104.4F), according to its Meteorological Office.
