I loved the praise and worship music today! I love the bluegrass version of the old hymns! ❤️❤️ I watch Athey Creek every Sunday and Wednesday from Austin, TX!
I live in Seattle and have been tuning in from time to time on RUclips. This worship was incredible. I’d love to see more of this style. I like when worship makes you want to move your body
Hi Trevor, thanks for tuning in! We do have Watch Parties for people who live too far away to join us in person. Feel free to check out this link for more info! atheycreek.com/connect/watch-parties
Jesus give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I won’t give up but Lord I’m so discouraged. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to grant me courage to keep going.💕
I know things can seem insurmountable most times and every day is another challenge to put it mildly, and do so hard. Keep depending on the Lord. Easier said than done in the middle of daily struggles but He IS … our provider, our Help, our comfort, our teacher, our friend and confidant as well as our Father, Lord, King and savior. And He loves you with an ever faithful, unfailing love. He knows your needs and your childrens needs. Go to Him all day, every day with everything on your heart, don’t be anxious or afraid. Wait on Him, trust on Him and He will give you strength, peace and hope💕 Prayers for you and your kids, from one who’s been there.
We are so sorry to hear this. You and your family are in our prayers. If you are interested, one of our pastors would love to pray with you. Feel free to call our Pastoral Care line at 971.250.1113
The fact that God uses flawed people gives me comfort and hope! The 3 siblings was awesome. Again, that gives me hope as well. The whole bluegrass music was GREAT!
He spent 10 minutes telling everyone that they shouldn’t mock the body of Christ and how Paul persecuted the church and Jesus said you’re persecuting Me. Then he persecuted Kenneth Copeland. Whether someone likes him or not, I personally can’t stand most of Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Copeland is just as much of a teacher and child of God as this guy. I don’t understand how he can say that Jesus personally has an issue with people persecuting His body, and then he persecutes an active member of Jesus body. Even David said not to touch God’s anointed talking about a man they wanted to be eliminated from power. What happens when this guy says something wrong? Should I call him a wolf and kick him out? What happened to grace?
We appreciate you reaching out to us, as this is an important issue for the Church. There is a difference between a pastor who teaches the Bible and serves the church and one who is using the church to serve himself. Acts 20.28-29 is one of the passages that instruct pastors to both feed the church sound doctrine and warn about those who teach false doctrine. Jesus showed great grace to those caught in sin, as the woman at the well (John 4.5-24), but was very harsh with those who knowingly preyed on the sheep (Matt 23.14). One of our pastors would be more than happy to speak with you further about this by calling our Pastoral Care Line at 971-250-1113
