Agreed! If it’s good enough to screenshot, it’s good enough to sell. I rode my AMC bag all the way down unfortunately, and coincidentally perfectly “screenshotted” the top. Learned from it, will do much better this bull run 💪🏽

The smart money has more than doubled their capital in BTC and on most other crypto assets since fall 2023, and definitely since fall 2022. Yes, I have two numbers that I have sell points. One number is a sell point that sells a portion of my portfolio that returns most if not all my targeted initial investment. And the second sell point is one where no matter how high valuations go, it's a sell point that keeps a portion of my portfolio retaining liquidity that keeps a balance that I believe keeps me flexible in what I want done.

Could you please go more into detail on the exit strategy? It makes no sense to me to be rotating profits into BTC while it’s going down after the Top. But maybe I just understood you wrong.

Very good take at 13:00. People need to take Profit at a time, because after all, unrealized gains are no gains. I'll be one of them. I don't have life changing money on the line, but I hope to prepare myself for the next run (there is always one!).

I got to get my iced out gold chain while I can. I had to take profits already.

Mainly into bitcoin and sell only some bitcoin usually when its high, my goal is to keep growing my wealth via bitcoin, if I make money fast in USD I can sell that if needed

I may just sell off straight to fiat instead of converting my alts to BTC. Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly, but for me, I'm pretty sure it would be considered a taxable event to sell my alts for BTC. I could be wrong. Because my bag has been in cold storage since the last run and it's in the favorable 15% cap gains tax rate. If I were to trade my ADA/ETH for BTC when the BTC dominance goes down, I would have to sell with a cap gains tax rate of 30-40%. But the biggest reason is because I want to pay off my mortgage this year with my crypto and not risk it by doing another profit play when I could just exit in one move. Maybe the BTC dominance conversion trick makes sense when I'm debt free and have nothing to lose.

I did this last cycle. It wasn't lifechanging money, but I'd 'made' about £15k and never got out... you hold on thinking it won't stop. There are no losses in life if everything is a lesson. This run, I will be taking profits early.

During the late 2017-early 2018 run didn’t BTC top out before Alts? In that case rolling your Alts into BTc then fiat would be backwards. Better to be heavily into BtC at first, then roll into Alts, then into fiat

If bit coin is getting ready to split you shouldn’t sell no matter what when a stock splits like that there is always a run up because of the new lower price that people think they are now getting for a deal so if it’s at 69k and splits it could run back up to 45k within a week or two for its initial run up that’s when you should sell

1:25 You can't just pick a random spot (because the candle "looks" like a break out to you) to predict the future pattern.
It's the same rule for all, if I pick structure breaks (change of character) then it's all the same
@@MarketMobster But what you call a structure break could be artificially created or black swan. You have to go by scheduled events free of external influence such as halving.

Can you make a video of your dominance strategy with a demo of 10k? So for example you'd start with 10k and you go into btc, then the dominance falls to 50% and you sell your btc for alts up until the final phase in which you either take profits in fiat or in btc

At this point might be better to get alts on a dip as opposed to btc.
If you DCA BTC in the bear market, that's when you wait for dominance to go high as possible before swapping into alts

I also don't understand why you have conviction that the end of this year will be near the end of the cycle. As you know the post-halving year is usually the parabolic stage of the bull market but you're okay missing out on that because you're confident this cycle will be over by 2025?

What if I live paycheck to paycheck and only have a small investment into crypto since December 2023 that has increased 30%? The money isn't life changing at all, basically an average monthly wage. Should I sell off my initial investment and keep the 30% in crypto? Should I sell all of it now? It would be nice to have that extra money, but it's not going to get me on the property ladder or anything significant. Losing it will be painful though as my financial situation isn't great.

No one should have any level of confidence of what BTC putting in a ATH pre-halving means. It could be a very short cycle, it could just mean that BTC is going much higher this cycle or maybe there will just be a long period of time this cycle where BTC is pretty boring or anything in-between. No one knows
