12 Easy Star Cookies for Your July 4th or Memorial Day BBQ

For these easy star cookies, I wanted to make a set that was as accessible as possible: I bring you 12 different designs on stars! I used the 3.25" Chubby Star from Brighton Cutters.
I made this set with at-home beginner cookiers in mind, so it uses ONE consistency (my thick flood) and JUST 3 colors. Yes, you heard that right! Now that's my kind of beginner class!

Well, that makes sense that you don’t celebrate since you may not live in the US. But I’m sure the UK and other countries have a similar national holiday where you can make themed cookies for whatever that holiday may be.

Great set. Lots of east designs. I noticed you didn’t wait as long as usual to let some of them set (eg, the one with the “diamonds”). Was actually a good comparison, to show what happens when you do/don’t wait, and how much the icing might “bleed” into another section if you don’t wait as long. Sometimes you WANT the wet on wet technique, and sometimes you don’t. Very instructive!
