- A fun tutorial on decorating sugar cookies with Royal Icing. This week we are decorating red, white and blue July 4th cookie. We will be working with four cookie designs today as I am finally trying out my Sugarbelle cookie sticks cookie cutter.
On this episode we will be creating Uncle Sam’s patriotic hat, a firework before take-off, sparklers and the American flag.

The squeeze bottles can def do a number on your hands but I'm doing what I can to save on plastic waste. Thanks so much for this lovely comment. With everything that's happened in the last two years, life has really shifted for me. I do miss working on the channel. I can't believe how many comments I have here waiting for me. I really do want to get back at it. I'm working hard to try and find a balance. Thanks again for the well wishes. Same to you and yours.

Very cute collection of cookies! They work so well together. I just got the Sweet Sugarbelle cookie stick cutter. It’s on clearance at my Cincinnati location, in fact, all her products were on clearance. I hope that doesn’t mean they are discontinuing the line. I made a bunch of rocket cookies and plan to decorate them with an American flag theme. Thanks for sharing your talent!
Sugarbelle seems to reduce to sale a lot. But with the following it has, I don't think the company is going anywhere. I held off for a long time thinking 'I don't need that cutter, I can cut sticks myself' but this makes life so much easier.

Thank you for your feedback. That was a long time ago and kind of became a 'thing'.... somehow. I don't do anything like that anymore. I sell cookies full time now and make the odd Instagram reel for the business... with no hand poises hehehe. I am glad you found some inspiration in my videos. Have a great weekend!
I don’t understand the purpose of resting and crossing your hands after each step. Seems a little..weird..to me. Hmmm.
