Amtrak’s Intercom Sound Effect | (Announcement FX)

I was at Glenview and on Hiawatha 338, just before the train departed, I heard some rare yet unsettling chime before an announcement that the train would arrive Chicago in 20 minutes. The train had 2 Siemens SC-44 Chargers (4611 & 4620) with a whole set of those Siemens Venture Coaches. I heard it twice. Those were my first times hearing them.

@@manuelalvarado6510The Surfliner cars and the Acela were built in 1998. I believe the Surfliner cars entered service in 1999-2001. The Acela commenced in 2000.
