this house actually is not as expensive as i thought it would be. i was thinking at least 500k but it's only 300k. ofc that's not cheap by any means, but that's a pretty good price for what you're getting. i thought being able to get a house like this was far from reality but now i'm happy realizing it can be a reality if i work hard!! you can totally do it!!

The only changes I’d make would be the basement kitchen into an Irish pub and the basement fireplace into the same wood burning one as upstairs.
Maybe even matching the outside one for the basement patio as well.
Other than that, this is THE perfect home.

My concern is still on the local contractor...not on your design, material, etc.
1 The sky is the limit on customization, 2 Wis, 3 part 1 is up, we have a network of quality builders for you to choose from
I've just watched four of your videos, and I have to say that I'm more than impressed by your designs and builds. I'm in the very embryonic stages of building a non profit for homeless youth. Ranch will be part of our name, so it just makes sense to construct using a ranch style building, and your designs outshine what I'd initially thought of, shipping containers, or even pre-fab units. If I send you some rough architectural renderings, would you be interested in helping build not only the main house, but housing for the kids, and a few homeless Vets. Bare in mind, that this is a non profit, and money is already an issue, and I could go a cheaper route, but to stay true to the "ranch" idea, yours has my interest peaked. The first construction will be in N.C. btw, so we deal with super humid summers, and(too cold for me) mild winters. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!!

California is back on your option?
Although we have built homes in California, we have come to find that too many projects were interrupted by tedious red tape from both a local and state level. This has resulted in such long delays that we have found projects never broke ground - even though we did all of the engineering and materials selections. With that in mind, we have decided that it's not in our best interest to work on California projects when we have other families on our waiting list.
