7th game of the World Series. Bottom of the 9th. Full count. Ryan Hawkins at bat, swings ..... Walk off grand slam home run. Your talent, craftsmanship, and knowledge is off the charts to me. Just incredible, thanks Brother!!
Outstanding!! I'm still learning and actually bought some walnut and maple at a moving sale a few weeks ago and will be putting that together in to an end grain board this winter!
That is another beautiful board as expected, your woodworking skills are unbelievable! As gorgeous as the board is, I've got to say the most impressive part of the entire video for me is the camera work and the editing. If you did the camera work and editing that is pretty mind blowing!! 🤯🤯
Hi Ryan, found your channel and am loving it. One thing, I like the commentary on what you are doing. Not music. I am trying to make boards with the 45 degree end grain & some tutorial would have been great. Love your work.
Appreciate the feedback. I do have other videos on this pattern where I narrate my process and I also have a long, in depth video on the 45 degree board I believe you're referring to. Thanks for watching!
i dont know if i like the music that much tbh, i think its better when you talk or not talk in ur videos, im not saying i hate your voice and you shouldnt talk at all love the work man
4:00 there isn't another RUclipsr out there with that many clamps. I'll bet he hates the red handles they probably slip a lot I had some like that and wrapped bicycle handle tape around them for grip.
Hey Ryan, always enjoy your videos and am fascinated by your skills. Quick question. Why don’t you put 45’s on the borders? Personal preference or does it have something to do with strength & integrity of the design? Thanks.
Oh! A fresh upload, awesome :) Mentioned this in another vid, but have you thought of using a stop block at 24" on your mitre saw to save having to measure all your lengths? Still watching while typing, thanks for the upload :)
Awesome build Ryan! 😎 Are you scared of using the jointer with the wood grain perpendicular to it ? At around 13:56 ? I guess you are taking super shallow passes ?
#RyanHawkins i have a question i do my board around 2 inch and when flatning it shes ok but couple hours later its like a potato the 4 corner are coming up ??
New ryan video 😀 cracking job mate looks stunning. Looking at that pile behind you in a few shots think might be time do some random style use up scraps stuff. I have loads of mahogany in the shop might need give similar thing a shot. 👍🏴🫡
Thanks Michael! I actually just spent a week doing a deep clean of the shop, this will be the last video you see that pile in, until I bring it out of storage for the project I have in mind for it :)

Thank you very much!
Beautiful work. I love how you've dialed in your process- it's all intentional and purpose-built. Just a lovely end product- true artisanship.
Thank you!
Another awesome project. Please forgive me for missing this one. Your work above exemplary. Thank you for your presentations!
Another beautiful cutting board! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents!
You're welcome! Glad you like it.
Another quality that this gentleman has.. Besides a great sense of humor and an ability to laugh at himself ... Is his incredible talent!!

You absolutely the talent of the world. Beautiful work
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Incredible work. Amazing workflow too. You’ve got it figured out that for sure.

@@ryanhawkins that is even more incredible!!
Love the dust collection on the miter!
It's the best!
That's a huge board! Must be pretty heavy! 😱😱
Beautiful work!

i wish i could work with this guy. I sell boards in my own time but not nearly of this size and creativity. I would love to make one like this

Hi Ryan & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Ryan & Friends Randy
Wow Dude!
It's amazing!
Glad you think so!
Someone has prob already asked this, but how far apart do set the boards when you stack them for gluing to create that angle of a cut?
Thanks for sharing! Anytime I use mahogany for end grain it turns super dark. How do you keep this from happening?
Oh! A fresh upload, awesome :)

Still watching while typing, thanks for the upload :)
Yes, definitely, when I build a proper mitre saw station I plan to incorporate T-track in to allow for stop blocks on repetitive cuts.
@@ryanhawkins Awesome! Looking forward to seeing it :)
Great results as always!

I have no worries doing it like that!
@@ryanhawkinsthank you for taking the time to answer my question!
Actually I think the jointer is scared of the cutting board
I wonder if you can make any celebrity faces, animals ect . using the extras pile
magnifique réalisation
Thanks!
Your off cut pile is insane. Bonfire?
And still can never have enough clamps!
True

love this! im a beginner, what does the bee wax do at the end after oiling? Thanks!
The oil penetrates to moisten the fibers and the beeswax seals the surface to make it more impervious to liquids. Also gives it a nice sheen :)

Nice Beautiful work 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
How much did you sell the 20 by 30 by 2.75 inches thick board?
How much were the other two boards in CAD?
$1800ish for big one, other 2 still sitting on my shelf, they're smaller, will likely be in the $600-$1000 range
Why at the lowest $60?
@@luisgomezjr.1594 whoops, typo, left off a zero
How much glue did you use?
Roughly...maybe 1.5 gallons
Wonderful work. The big question…,,,
What did it sell for?? 😮
nice work
Thanks!
Love the videos. Nice work. Im in the same area as you. Where do you find all that nice lumber
Windsor Plywood in Courtenay
have you done purple heart and maple together ?
Not just the 2 of them together but I bet it would look sharp!
@@ryanhawkins thanks for the reply
are all of these custom requested boards? or do you make these for fun and hope to sell them
Not that you asked, but I prefer your videos without music. Let me hear those shop sounds!
I genuinely appreciate the feedback, next one is a big one and will have plenty of shop sounds for ya!
sir,can you make huge round dining table for your content?

*sigh* So nice of RUclips to NOT list this video in my subscriptions since I’m subscribed to you.

TOP BEAUTIFUL
Please don’t use that beautiful piece of work for a cutting board that should be on display somewhere
100% the ugliest cutting board I have ever seen.
IS WHAT I WOULD SAY IF IT WAS OPPOSITE DAY!!!!!!
So you’re Canada n never heard of that country but I’m Canadian
