I’m a new fan of Colorado and I have been following Coach Prime since Jackson St. but when you mentioned Fresno State it made me smile. My Dogs hold a spot close to my heart since I worked with the football team 1999 and 2000 season. David Carr was a red shirt freshman.

I was watching 30 for 30 “Deion Double Play” on Netflix. This dude is dynamic. One of the few special individuals amongst us. Talking about haters. Deion been dealing with that since day one. Deion agreed to a handshake deal to continue to play for the brave even though football training camp started. Then the Brave front office act like he is in breech of contract when he was doing them a favor. Even the Falcons doing them a favor letting him play baseball during football season. Jealousy. Make him out to be the bad guy and self centered even though he was doing a self less thing playing two sports at the same time. Which is why McCarver got wet in the locker room. Those days definitely have parallel to what going on now. Hater are going to always be around. I like Matt Mcchesney especially on your show. He walking that line between supporter and hater. He has a right to his opinion. He going to let that dumb J.C. Coach JB walk him down a path he going to regret. Obviously every body trying to make a living. JB is similar to McCarver 30 years ago. Jealousy of Deion. 2024 season become a winning season they all going to be sucking Coach Prime dick. Matt you want to be first in line keep talking. He would take a jab then say “I like Coach Prime”. Sell out. I know he one of many buff supporters that are tired of the talk and is waiting to see results on the field. I’m in that camp. My experience you can tell when you seeing something special. The mere fact that the player that jump into the portal wasn’t committed to the vision like a Charlie for example. Coach Prime is getting his player with heart. That all you need. They will practice their ass off every day and improve.
Another thing. Could have done all this stuff 20 years ago after retiring. He decided to the raise the kids make them into the people that they are. Be their coach instead of being a secondary coach for an NFL team. He could have easily got. This why he so well respected amongst his peers. He a selfless person that happens to be confident about his ability. Special!!!!
