Thank you so much! That helped me a lot! It drove me nuts trying to align my stickersheets correctly, only to find out that most of the stickers were not cut correctly. I definitely will try out this method, it‘s so clever! - Greetings from Germany!
I have to say - you're the only video I've found so far that actually shows printing from a separate program and then cutting them out with the Ultra. It's super-frustrating how hard they are making this process. I've tried using Photoshop to export my SVG files to help cut things out, but the program keeps seeing it was a bitmap instead, which is frustrating me to no end, lol.
RIGHT? I didn't even have a playlist category for it, so I just chucked it in the "laser engraving & cutting" one. I don't know if I need YetAnotherHobby, you know? But these are quick and easy!
Thanks for this tutorial! I have not been impressed with the quality of the M1 Ultra's print head. Instead, I'll still use the fine print setting on my Epson printer to get rich, accurate colors and lines. However, I still want to use the M1 Ultra for cutting out various shapes. Your tutorial gave me the details and possible pitfalls that I needed to move forward confidently.
Yay! Yeah kind of same? I hope it'll improve over time. I have a tank-based printer, so it manages the ink more efficiently and gives photo-quality results.

Ugh! Have you tried exporting from Illustrator or Inkscape? The way Photoshop saves a SVG may not be correct for laser applications.
The hobby I didn't know I needed! Such a well explained tutorial.
