      I wish I could fly the drone more often, but local regulations and weather often get in the way!

    Also forgot to mention the weather in July- August is simply the best...if you like 75-90 degrees nothing like it...Been golfing with my buddies there every year for the past 32 years...Golf Extravaganza 2023 here we come...Cheers

    To heck with the hot springs...the Kootenay Valley has some of the best golf courses around...Greywolf..Copper Point..Eagle Ranch...The Springs...Riverside...Mountainside all within 30 minutes... not to mention great courses in the Kimberly and Cranbrook area

      Thanks for mentioning this! I’ve never played a round of golf in my life so it was easy to overlook. Thanks for providing this insight for the viewers 👍

    Wait how is the pool not smokey because the pool is hot and where's the snow???

    • @DrifterDave
      @DrifterDave  Год назад +1

      This was filmed in June 2021 so it was pretty hot! There’s no snow in the Canadian Rockies in the summer, except at inaccessible altitudes

    At the hot springs there is a hot tub next to the hot springs but just to warn you it is ice cold, i just got back from camping at ridge view resort so who ever plans on going to the hot springs dont trust the hot tub

      I wonder why it's not heated? Kind of defeats the purpose!

    Is it actually still radioactive there? How did it get that name?

    • @DrifterDave
      @DrifterDave  Год назад +1

      Yes! But the radiation isn’t significant enough to be harmful. Read more here:

    Great video. At the Radium Hot Springs are towels provided by the park service or do I need to bring my own towels?

    • @DrifterDave
      @DrifterDave  3 года назад +4

      You need to bring your own, or they can be rented for about $2. Thanks for watching!

    Got a Weed store at radium,Yet I can't cross border to visit,because of a DUI 27 yrs.ago.

      You should apply for a pardon / waiver. As long as you've had a relatively clean record since then, your chances might be high at getting back up to Canada eventually.

      @@DrifterDave Id love to come up and visit.Been a long time.Ive heard it can cost near 1000$US to get said Waiver.Its an unfair law.We don't require Canadians to be clean to cross.I appreciate feedback sir
