My hubby & i love your program 'Repair Shop' we have an old wall clock, given to my husband about 40+ years ago, it stopped chiming so we took it to a jewelers for repair and to be honest it came back worse. Whilst my hubby has got it working again ( he's still working on the chime) what I want to know is what can I use to clean the clock face ( it's a creamy colour) thanks
Wonder why he doesn't use an ultrasonic cleaner? They are so cheap now and so such a great job. No ammonia stink.
Is the tapered gauge that you used to measure the gap between the gear teeth available anywhere? What is the proper name for the tool? Thanks!
