February 2021 聖經研討會 聚會#6:《斐理伯書》常喜樂、不掛慮、常知足 (斐 4:2-23)

新春快樂！願“牛年”激勵所有 聖經研討會參與者努力不懈，活出基督的思維。我們都記得，保祿在《基督頌》（2：6-11）中對這思維進行了很好的剖析和闡述。我們堅信，只要我們擁有這“正確的思維”，就可以毫不費力地，實現保祿在本月的BSP中對斐理伯人的期望，即「 凡是真實的，凡是高尚的，凡是正義的，凡是純潔的，凡是可愛的，凡是榮譽的，不管是美德，不管是稱譽：這一切你們都該思念 」（4：8）！
在本節中， 保祿還向我們介紹了聖克肋孟(4:3），他通常被看作天主教的第四任教宗。我們將簡要討論他寫給格林多人的第一封書信，這是一本非常重要的第一世紀教會文獻，為羅馬天主教的首要地位提供了啟示。

Happy Chinese New Year! May the Year of the Ox motivate all BSP participants to work tirelessly to put on the mind of Christ which, as we'll recall, has been beautifully dissected and laid out by Paul in the Christ Hymn (2:6-11). We are convinced that as long as we're in our "right minds", living out the lofty ideals that Paul expects from the Philippians in this month's BSP - "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things" - will be effortless (4:8)!
In this session, Paul also introduces us to St. Clement (4:3), generally identified as the 4th Pope of the Catholic Church. We'll discuss briefly his First Epistle to the Corinthians, which is a very important 1st-century church document that sheds light on the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church.
Once again, we invite you to watch our monthly RUclips Premiere at 8:00 p.m. (ET), on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Yes, it's Thursday. It was scheduled this way due to Lent. In this month's meeting, we will study together the last chapter of Philippians. We will begin the Letter to the Colossians starting from the month of May.
Here's a few things you need to know whether you've been following us or are just joining us for the first time:
2020-21 PROGRAM DETAILS - If you're unfamiliar with the 2020-21 BSP program, here's a brief intro. The BSP of 2020-21 is conducted monthly on the 4th Friday of each month from Sept 2020 to June 2021 (note: for Dec, Feb and Mar, see time schedule for exact dates). This year's coverage includes Philemon, Philippians, Colossians. Please visit the BSP website for the fine details and the complete time schedule.
