THIS is the winner by far and so exicting which is why I have been tuning in to Euro since 1966. I am reinded of Paul Oscar Iceland way back when which also puhsed the boundaries. I am cocnerned that the eastern bloc voters may not get behind this..which would be a shame and a disappointment....I hope they do. Creativity. Genuine energy and to understand that we think this is Bambie Thuga exorcising her own demons...in her head...its a brilliant rendition as is the piano version - see it if you have not. Dark Horses in the competition is Switzerland.. stunning male vocal France. Other songs sure to do well Sweden and Norway. Love to all.
So the demon was already hiding on the floor? That really ruins the performance for me. In the TV version I thought the demon was summoned from underground. #disappointed
what else would you expect? we're not living in supernatural word. where fairies, Dark magic, Teleportation, Invisibility exists this is the human world. + The stage was already finished it would be a hassle if they would adjust the floor to pop out to make an illusion + There's a reason why People go to the actual arena is because they can hear the singers with alot of cheering and possibly see some illusions. While in TV live you barely hear crowd cheering/booing and see no illusion.
Its made for TV, so you are right there. It's just interesting to see what the stadium sees.. Especially as the Dancer Matt Williams steps out of the ring for the second verse and then returns in time as Bambie turns to grab him. Great timing. An awful lot of work went into getting that right.
