    I reallllly like the way that you explain. Audiences DO matter for you.
    Via a knowledgeable method, without any ego, the whole video is well-explained from A-Z.
    It has been 6 months that I am struggling with Linux stuff from time to time. Your video is one of the best ones that I have every watched.
    "SUBSCRIBED" :)))
    Thnx

    This is so great! Thank you for this video. Reproducing some comments below: there is a typo in 12:28, correct Ayatana for Ayanata.

    Thanks a lot, that was really helpful. I installed Paraview-5.11 on Ubuntu 20.04 and it worked great, except I had an issue with launching paraview from the terminal. I could only use the icon. Then I found out that openfoam-10 has its own bashrc file in the /opt/openfoam10/etc/ directory. I looked at it and found a solution : just add a line in my .bashrc file giving the path to the new paraview libraries. In my case it was :
    alias paraview511='LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/opt/ParaView-5.11/lib/mesa/ paraview511'
    Then source the .bashrc.
    Just in case somebody needs the tip.

    This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

      Give the full path of the paraview; e.g., Exec=/opt/Paraview-5.11/bin/paraview and also correct the typo Ayanata for Ayatana
      It worked for me after I made the first change

    • @jiezhou9256

      so, first, you need to correct two typos in your text, and second you will need to reboot to make it happen
