      I'm curious, what did you expect? Something more like the regular panspermia theory? Maybe just normal inorganic compounds growing into something more like DNA?

      Abiogenesis is so far fetched that even sci-fi films consider it unrealistic. The absolute state of materialism.

    Fantastic!
    Very imaginative, and the graphics are scintillating!
    The imagination to design the graphical entities, and the work involved must be formidable.
    For me, who grew up with Tom and Jerry, this is almost magic!

    To make it more realistic I would let it orbit around the planet, collect data then land on surface and create microorganisms instead of whole plants.

      It did not need the data it already knew what created life on planets that's why they went down and collected the microorganisms out of that pond and distributed into the planet

    • @grandpretredesalpagas4665
      @grandpretredesalpagas4665 4 года назад +5

      There is nothing realistic about that, life probably appeared from thunder striking in the primitive soup that made up the planet's aromospheere at this time
      But it is still a very beautiful video because it wasn't meant to be a scientific point about the complexe theory of abiogenesis but an artistic view of the overall concept

    • @anilkumarb6713
      @anilkumarb6713 4 года назад +8

      @@lindarichmond3199 I think based on the name of the short, pre existing life isn't a necessity for the alien "life generator" to create life. Abiogenesis is defined as the emergence of life from non living thing. So I believe the alien took the liquid from the lifeless pond, analysed the chemical constituents of the liquid and generated life based on the chemical composition of it.
      It's possible that the probe is following a certain algorithm based on the chemicals it find in different planets so as to generate life suitable for the conditions of that planet... But then again, that's my interpretation of the short...

    • @animationspace8550

      @@grandpretredesalpagas4665 actually abiogenesis and panspermia are actual theories of life that could work. (this video is still unrealistic tho)

    Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning decipherer of the structure and role of DNA, recorded a story: Enrico Fermit was interested in many things, including the origin of life. He once said in a group of friends, “There are at least a hundred billion stars in the Milky Way, more or less like the Sun. Many of them are surrounded by planets, some with liquid water. Under the influence of starlight in the water, the synthesis of chemical compounds begins, and the ocean becomes a lukewarm nourishing soup. Self-reproducing structures feed on this broth. Natural selection from them creates more and more advanced, complex beings. Civilizations come to life, with them science and technology. These intelligent beings are visiting newer and newer planets, traversing the entire Milky Way. These extremely clever creatures can hardly escape the attention of a beautiful planet like Earth. But then where are they? ” To the question, Leo Szilárd, who was present, immediately answered: “Here they are among us. Their English pronunciation is a bit strange. They call themselves Hungarians

      Great question and here is another one. Where did the first matter come from that the abiogenesis proponent believes eventually came to life complete with sophisticated replication software, blueprints and complex molecular machines in place? Similar puzzle right? Every possibility seems unimaginable and impossible in the natural, which leaves a supernatural and miraculous solution. The best explanation to me among every possibility that is impossible in the natural is the supernatural explanation that somehow an original intelligent Creator being has always existed outside of time and space. Most likely this being created life on earth, though He/She may have created other beings that then created life here.

    Fascinating and beautifully done. Unfortunately, "Abiogenesis" is a rather dubious name for this film....given that the creation of "life" was not from lifeless matter, but by manipulation from obviously intelligent life...which created these machines to do this astounding work.
