Stan really deserves a break after that. The guy has been there from the start, he's been pumping out banging content the entire time. And now he and Jamie had to deal with the most stressful and legitimately dangerous part of the mission so far. Perhaps we should be calling Stan the 2nd Hardest Geezer
Absolute machine. Not to mention the malaria he also endured. He deserves all the credit too.
What about me and what I deserve I what top gear running
He is having a holiday when they get to Lagos btw.
Stan having a cheeky cig whilst the van was on the edge 😂 man was stressed
These vids give me Top Gear Special vibes
Haha yess
100% but I’m here for it 😂 very invested at this point 👏🏻
Stan chainsmoking and then the comment of "Eh white man! You see what africa can do!?" Beautiful
I keep coming back to this brilliant episode. It might be my favourite one so far
Cracked me up seeing Stan having a smoke to try and relax while the van is almost tipping into the water 😂
Stan chain smoking from the stress 😂😂😂
Stan is some man. Honestly fair play to all the crew involved. And Gus seems like the most genuine fella.
Guus has been amazing. So stable and good vibes
The van on the boat was hard to watch 😮 Guys are brave.
Indeed. And that stormy weather, while they were travelling just on a wooden cargo small boat... Was much, as the Angolares used and still say: a "Kalunga," a dangerous trip into the unknown.
Even though, that ancient designed "Skifu," from nowadays Nigeria; once at the year of 1991, it carried across that same route: an entire small Helicopter, as well.
"Keep calm, worst case they'll shoot you." - Guus 2023
I was laughing at the absurdity of that van on a goddamn home made wooden boat from the 80s. This is the best entertainment there is
I hope you mean 1880s, that shit is prehistorical
I never thought the boat would be that small!! Crazy to put a massive camper van on what looked like a tiny fishing boat 😲
Just a normal day in rural Africa
This is grade a top quality!
Love the Guus and Russ energies ❤️ those last two episodes were my favourite so far! Nigeria looks beautiful even without the drone so far and the drama around Nelly was unreal. But what tops it all off is Russ and Guus vibing ❤ that's a bromance if there ever was one. So don't worry about thrilling content. Just keep stomping and keep Guus around. That's all I'm asking for 😅 good luck, geezer!
the relief when Nelly is finally on the boat, immediately followed by "white man, you see what Africa can do" killed me! the best.
Stan stress smoking with the boat in the background has meme potential
Gus is my favourite character in this TV series
So sad to hear Gus is leaving!! Feels like we JUST got to know him. He brings a needed sense of calm to the whole mission.
On another note, it was pretty special to see those guys all lift the van in unison
I didn't read into as Gus leaving, just that the full team joining back to together means the end of Russ and Gus as a duo squad with the camper? I hope that's all it means!
I post this every week, but to avoid getting flagged by the algorithm I reckon you need to take the pissing blood comment out of your intro !! gotta keep it PG for th algorithm overlords - cracking content as always though
Just inspiring. Stan is an underrated character in this story, but love how all the personalities of this crew come across! Really enjoying this mission guys, best thing on the internet right now
"White man, you see what Africa can do" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love my Nigerians man
Geezlings are stoked to see the boys back together
I just found out I have a title. Haha. I choose to embrace this.
"You see what Africa can do?" After that whole shit show with the wooden planks is just peak Africa lmao.
So much respect for Russ. Got me back into running, I managed to struggle 3 miles before work at 10.30 pace, I used to smash out 5 miles at 6.45 pace, looking forward to getting back to those days. Keep going Russ, you're a legend mate
This is the most REAL thing on the Internet right now. Thanks for inspiring every single week 💪🏻
They PICKED the van up!! Ho-ly

JEEEEZ guys/dolls/gulls/doys Russ is almost back to averaging a marathon a day!
Numbers not seen since day 110!
What an absolute GEEZAH!!!
Loving the frequency of these uploads, watching every single one.
Stan smoking the cigarette showed the extent of how suspicious that "ferry" was
A1content boys
Stan is the 2nd hardest geezer for sure! Respect
Noooo! Gus was my favourite, its so sad to see him go
Same!!! I fear for their safety and sanity without Gus!
He’s not going - his latest Instagram has him in Nigeria as of yesterday
@@jj12s 😳
5:24 that shout just coordinated them all and psyched them up to lift it and bam job done. Awesome. Fair play to Stan for calmly standing his ground and explaining, in what is basically a sketchy lake dockyard in Africa where they know nobody.
I'd keep big Gus around as long as possible.
Stan is basically the Puyol of this mission .. man is a fucking warrior!!
Holy Jesus that boat ride made me more nervous than I’ve ever been watching RUclips
That boat shit gave me serious anxiety lol Gus leaving just as he was starting to get into his groove
I know they've been saying boat for a couple episodes but I was not prepared at how much of a proper old school wooden boat this would be.. can't believe Nelly made it on the boat and across the water!
Russ cutting guss hair like a g
Meanwhile Stans hair.... 😂
Geezmaster, bringer of stomp, defeater of tarmac, traveler of worlds, hear our words: May your 1s and 2s be blessed and may your spirits stay high.
Will be sad to see Guus go, him and Russ so good together.
As a regular runner, and a project manager in logistics, this is perhaps the most engaging series i’ve ever seen.
Absolutely smashing it lads, from the running to the organisation of logistics & the content machine, you’ve had a blinder so far. All the best for the rest of the mission 🫡
7:43 James Cameron is very silent since that transition dropped
Unbelievable. Genuinely the most dangerous moment of the mission so far for the boys in Nellie, that was fucking insane.
Despite being a genuine logistical nightmare, the one normal border between Cameroon/Nigeria being closed/unsafe has given us THE BEST CONTENT from the entire trip, from both halves of the split up team. Incredible.
Stan deserves that break in Lagos
You have to admire the spirit of the african people where 20 people come together to get Nelly on a boat, how sketchy it might be
The way Guus has been helping you with security-related tasks is quite amazing. What a team!
Gus giving like seriously practical advices and then “in worst case they shoot you” in the most casual tone ever😂😂😂😂❤
Big up to Stan. Waiting days to load the boat then having a boat load of people shouting 'go, go' when the van would fall off the bridge if he listened. That's stress levels 💯
Having lived in Africa previously, the whole van on boat situation is such a perfect encapsulation of how lots of things are done there 😂
I got chills when they picked up the van by hand and all yelled project africa in their accents. 😅
Stan for Second Hardest Geezer
Nelly is the true hero of this story.
The interview with Russ in front of the van with the mountain was perfection. More of that.
Never mind the pirates, the sheer number of things that seemingly could have gone wrong in shipping the boat is giving me heart palpitations. The ramp, the rough seas, dear lord.
Second best quote: “Keep calm. Worst case they’ll shoot you.” Guus has got the team super prepared; that’s great!
I think my favorite quote from this video: “that’s innovation. Let’s bring somma that home.”
Guss we saw each other yesterday together, I am Daniel from Julius Berger. I would like to do what you guys do again if I were a little younger and not quite as fat! Good luck for the rest of your journey. I will follow you! (RUclips)
Class. Credit to Stan and Jamie, the stress was real!
The editing of this episode is so good
This is so crazy. My anxiety went through the roof when I watched the van part. lol Stan smoking a ciggie during this process XD
I think it should be the Rus and Gus show. Two absolute legends.
More content of how y'all shop for supplies would be absolutely stupendous gents
Stan 100% picked up smoking on the mission
6:12 “White man, you see what Africans can do” 😂😂😂 I love the resilience and ingenuity of the people ❤
Damn would be shame to see gus leave....hes been entertaining aswell as very Knowledgeable with sticky situations.
These videos are rocking!
Also very easy on the eye 😉
He’s not going - still there as of his Instagram yesterday
Isn’t it ironic that we are watching a bloke called Cook eat ready meals for a year
I can't actually believe how sketchy that van on the boat was!!
Charity raffle for the legendary hoka bucket hat??
This was nerveracking to watch! Mad respect to Stan and Jamie for handling that insane situation so calmly!!!
2:55 Excuse me what?
Episodes 48 and 49 are crazy! A fascinating insight into how different the culture here is, and the advantages and disadvantages that come out of it.
Great video as ever guys! It was really nice seeing a bit of Russ vlogging his runs while the editing crew was otherwise engaged, I hope we don't lose that now that everyone is safe and sound.
Let Russ Cook 🔥🧑🏼🍳🍳
Stan and Jamie also HARD GEEZAHS
2:03 Beastmaker 1000 attached to the van. Which one of you boys is the climber?
First!!! Hoi vanuit Nederland, Guusje
Yam got a Brummie now ay yam?
Stan with the durry in his hand, I can feel the stress in his wrist mate fuck me dead
This shit is beautifully insane. True show of how far pure will power can take you. The whole story is just amazing
This was the most nerve-wracking episode yet. That boat stuff was crazy! You getting ill was bad, but it was no mission ender. Nellie possibly driving into the water would have been tough!
Great video as ever. Seeing the van getting on the boat was a hard watch. Cannot wait to see you all reunited.
Another great episode boys, keep it up!
this mission gets crazier & crazier - nelly on the boat might be the craziest yet!
There is an obvious lag between where you are and the latest vid. I wouldn't hide it tbh!!!
Absolute heroics getting that van across safely. Amazing effort
dont understand how this isnt more popular
init. millions of subscribers on copycat vloggers who post videos like $1,000 HAIRCUT IN VIETNAM yet a year-long series on running the entire length of Africa gets under 200k subs lol... like wtf. I think there's an inherent jealousy/dislike people have when people do truly amazing things. I remember when he started, British rags like daily mail was full of comments like "fuckin benefits scrounger" and "WHY!?!? what a twat". it's insane lol
African power is very strong 💪
keep it up lads. watching since ep1 and absolutely loving it
“Keep calm, worst case is shoot you” - wise words from Gus
Can’t imagine the emotions involved in getting that boat from Cameroon to Nigeria. Great content
What an absolutely incredible piece of work
Loving the content lads. Guus has really settled in well he seems a legend
Best episode yet!
These uploads are some of the highlights of my week! Thank you guys and good luck!
unreal efforts
Top marks for whoever did that road to ocean transition. Also sketchiest shit I've ever seen with that van loading.
Some of the best content on youtube
Top quality watch, but agree with others, the cuts when youre speaking are too much. Keep stompin
Recently read a hair raising account in the Scottish Mountaineering Club Journal of an ascent of Mt Cameroon from Nigeria involving that boat crossing - pirates, corrupt officials etc. Sketchy enough without importing a vehicle.
Every time mate… like the video before watching it😂 just know the hardest geezer will be releasing a top vid. Big up you and the team man
Awww Gus is my favorite Geezer on the team! Sad to see him go
Geezlings😂 made my day😂
Best series on RUclips.
You guys are insane 😂
Love the cliff hanger
Loved the term "geezlings" ^^
