We've just returned yesterday. Family of 3 with a 9 year old daughter and the holiday was fantastic. Safe hotel, friendly staff, fantastic beach with shallow waters that were warm at the time of writing. The food was sub par on all inclusive but plenty of choice and meat quality better than the all inclusives we've been on in the canaries. The location is great as you simply turn right out of the hotel and you are into a nice straight walk full of bars, restraunts and shops which was thriving but the hotel itself outside isn't people soup. We had a room opening up onto the pool near to where the video shows the grape vines. It was a great location to be in close to the pool areas, pool bar and shop. Usual noise through the day with added volume from the crickets but after 6pm, it becomes extremely quiet and peaceful. Holiday blues today and would definitely return. I really would recommend this for a mid range holiday and hope this helps anyone considering.
I spent my vacation there some time before Covid I think? My stay was very great, even though the resort itself was a bit small. The staff was exceedingly friendly and really the nicest people I’ve ever met during a holiday trip ( One woman in particular always played dart with us which was very fun ). Ocean was fine as well. The buffet was very limited like you mentioned but yummy nonetheless. The rooms were nicely decorated too, you could see that they poured their hearts into the making of this hotel. We also went out and explored some of the surrounding city which was filled with life to great extent! Overall a great trip and great people, would love to visit it once more.
