Only other thing I'd like to see more is the technical stuff but that doesnt create more views and Cleet has got a great team right now and I bet it's not cheap to keep it all going.     Everyone should go back and re watch Cleete’s 1st RUclips video to see how far our boy has came. For me with 2 sons his age, Cleete is almost like one of my sons friends that was always at our house hanging out. Good stuff.

    I remember you blowing up the original engine in that car, although on purpose, and you got the GT500 engine to stuff in it. That engine has been nothing but "tested at maximum" every time you got in it. I am truly impressed that it did what it did for you for as long as it did. You said it best, "That engine doesn't owe us anything." infact, it did much for you and your channel.

    Yall literally broke the first rule of lathe safety in the very first shot of it... never leave the Chuck key in the Chuck. It becomes a projectile if accidently turned on. But also very nice machine lol

    putting long tube headers on the crown vic will help out its lifespan even if you dont want to make more power. it will help with cooler exhaust valves and exhaust gas temps. might even look like losing 1 to 4 psi of boost but making about same power. if you want to keep it right at 1000hp long tubes and one size larger supercharger pulley might be what you want. overall less stress on the engine. should you decide you dont want to run it on methanol all the time, a water meth kit at wot and during burnouts would be a good alternative too.

      Agreed. Long tubes will usually LOWER the boost on a PD blower setup so it's not uncommon to see very little gain, but you end up making the same or slightly more power with less boost, and less torque strain on the crank to spin the blower

      This is what I wish they'd do with the Cleetus2 channel. Education. This team and their contacts are made of experts, everything from maintaining cars to grass to skills like welding, they have a lot of knowledge to offer. They've gotten a lot better with oval racing, but they should still do a racing school series as well. Even better, use the FF to host a racing school program that brings more people into the sport, not to mention teach all the RUclipsrs how to up their game.

    Its amazing that the engine in Neighbor lasted through 2 years of absolute ABUSE! Just riding the limiter for minutes on end and reaching coolant temps of over 260F on a regular basis! L&M for the win! Its unfortunate when an engine finally lets go that the people in the comments will trash the builder. These engines are being pushed WAY beyond their limits!

    Should add AN fittings to the rear of the heads where the coolant crossover is, and return them to the degas tank. Helps a ton on mod motors for cooling, seems like they have issues with low flow in rear of heads/block. That's why they score #4 and #8 often.

      I just wanna see them succeed, it's always a good time watching them ! Mod motors are an amazing platform, Koenigsegg bought rights to the design and through further research and development it was their main powerplant. Plus they have such a distinct sound under boost , its a magical note.

    I've been in the hospital for over a year now, and I watch every second of content Garrett puts out. I have to say these people feel like family now, and I can't wait to get out of here and head to Florida to see the Freedom Factory and possibly get to shake some of these hands. I grew up in a racing family and spent many many weekends at short tracks, both paved and dirt, and as i got older and graduated from school got into drag racing with a friend, we built a 11 second mustang coupe and thought we were the hottest shit out there. Theres nothing like it. I thank Cleeter and crew for the laughs and great racing.

    Time to get serious about machining safety. Safety glasses with side shields a must. Get some plexiglass chip shields with magnetic bases. I ran a large machine shop with millions of dollars of equipment for almost 40 years. Bad things can happen with lathes and mills.

      @@juggernautjim7719 Any machinery that rotates can do that not just lathes and mills. I've heard of big 60qt Hobart mixers in a kitchen catching clothing or something and ripping a finger or arm off. Any heavy machinery no matter the industry is potentially dangerous

      Myself being 78 now can’t agree with you any more. I have been put out to pasture by my wife and our best friends. But our adult kids 51 and 54 make up for what I have lost from my wife and our best friends. I am still suffering from the effects of agent Orange and I am still hanging in with my second brain tumor + this one isn’t cancerous like my first one. I can only imagine how great Sam nay feel with that I am still needed to do things. Getting older and sick can really make old people wish their day would come to an end but we can’t go their until it’s time.       Age is just a number. I don't view Sam as an old guy they let tag along, he's another part of the team.
      Would really love to see them showing Sam do some machine work for them, or putting an engine together.
      He can do far more than buff cars.

    Wouldn't putting long tubes on neighbor, and then dialing back the tune to stay at 1000. Be safer than how it is? motor would be more efficient giving you more safety buffer than being on the edge.

    That 4v spent so much time on the limiter. What a beast. Get the boys to burp the cooling system for the first 5 or 6 heat cycles, you will be amazed how much coolant you will have to add.

    Have you guys considered installing block and oil heaters in the cars? It would save a ton of time idling them trying to warm them up. This is especially helpful for alcohol cars since they tend to fill the crankcase with fuel when cold

      They run dual injectors and use gas for street driving and warming mullet. The others are burnout cars that get plenty hot enough to evaporate any fuel out of the oil during the burnout.

      Pulleys, screws, valves, rods, springs, an experienced machinist can build a whole motor with an engine lathe and mill.

    Those modular 4vs really take a few times to completely burp the cooling systems. And it should be done using the crossover tube on the motor, not the reservoir tank.

      Don’t have to burp if you fill them under vacuum. I’m surprised that almost none of these RUclipsrs don’t have a cooling system vacuum.

    Most reliable engine in the fleet and it’s a ford and it’s also the one that takes the most abuse just overheating it and smacking it off the limiter and that’s why the ford mod motors are the best.

    We are in a recession, waiting for a depression. Regardless what economic phase we are in, retail stores are closing in mass, evictions and homelessness are increasing, unemployment is a serious plague and inflation of everything is a huge problem that is going to cause a lot collateral damage.
