Amazing run, so fun to watch as a fellow Arbok/Weezing player. I've been trying to get better: do you have any good heuristics you keep in mind? Like, do you find it's better to lead on Koffing or Ekans against certain decks? Or better to play one or the other depending on if you're going first or second?
I think he was doing the math wrong, but it's technically optimal for these reasons: If Venasaur had more health, like 30, then leaving it as a Koffing is optimal in the case of Sabrina. Since Weezing wouldn't be able to kill the Venasaur (it would be left at 50 health, then take 40 from Weezing) AND Weezing lives the Giant Bloom so Arbok doesn't get a free swap AND Raven would be unable to retreat due to the higher energy cost and no Koga. So Phil would Sabrina out the Weezing, hit with Giant Bloom, Raven would be unable to swap/kill the Venasaur, and on the following turn Phil would retreat to his healthy Venasaur and just take the game from there. If you leave it as Koffing and Phil uses Sabrina then the Venasaur kills the Koffing and Arbok comes in and finishes off the Venasaur. Meaning it's just optimal to leave it as a Koffing in that case no matter what. If they don't Sabrina, that's fine you can just evolve into Weezing the next turn and no harm no foul. Now, we as the viewer obviously know it doesn't matter since Venasaur isn't healthy enough, but I'm guessing Raven was just a little sleep deprived and didn't realize the math behind it. It was a very real possibility if Phil was running potions, but again we know the decklists and he doesn't run potions so it truly didn't matter. And also, if they are healthy enough then it really doesn't matter because they just kill the Arbok and Weezing fails to kill before the retreat, but again probably just sleep deprivation getting to Raven
I'm confused. The Pokemon Company has not announced any big tournaments for this game. How is this an Invitationals? 🤔 It doesn't say "insert word here Invitational". It just says Pokemon TCG Pocket Invitational, which implies it is official.
It’s an invitational because it’s invite only. No idea if the organizers are partnered with tcg pocket officially but there are other teams involved with the game aside from the polemon company. I don’t know that they would even be the ones to announce major tournaments for the game. Two other company logos appear when you log into the game as well as tpc
@AnthemTD Yes, but usually if it's an invitational that is not official, you would say "blank or blank's PTCGP invitational", blank being the source of the invitational. If all you have is "PTCGP invitational", then that's wording it like it's official.
Bro I played your pinc on my Mewtwo deck and you rolled heads everytime. Post the video but please give me props. I was so sad that battle. Couldn't do shit and you just kep rolling heads lol.
Maybe I'm bad, but this guy seems allergic to playing Prof Research card.. I kept yelling at the screen. I mean he won the tourney and I certainly haven't done that.
the first opponent, the meta slave mewtoo and pikatchu player played horribly with that Mewtoo deck. Its so crazy that that deck can push out so many power even in a hand of a morron
I played like a morron, I would like a profesional like you to explain to me how to play the cards I had in my hand when I was playing with Mewtwo. Thank you brother.
You played like a monster. That final against Venu was amazing. Almost woke up my family when you won!
You know this game is good when all the Heartstone players moved over. I m so glad to see them play this game. 🤩
That first turn Weezing with Giovanni knocking out Execute was game sealing bro! Gratz on the W
Almost card for card I play that water deck. Glad I was on the right track! Congrats on the win. Was watching thru Hoog.
Congrats! I saw your plays at hoogland channel, and you rocked!
you were awesome, was watching Jeff's stream and you rocked it!
my fav is spragels for both pocket and unite..thanks for joining us in the tournament
I would love to get into these, it looked like great fun! Congrats on the win bro!
Congrats dude! I love playing Arbok Weezing! As soon as I pull a second Weezing, I'm gonna run your deck over the Pigeot Variant
Gratz, Raven ^^. I listened to it live. You made nice plays with sound logic. Best wishes, brother ^^
Congratz Raven and thanks for the video!
Raven is great at the game.
Also Raven told me to stop by, like and say hes really good at the game so here I am haha
That wheezing deck looks so cool
Raven is really good at this game
Congrats again on the win! Played very very well!
You crushed it man. Good job
Just suggesting: It would be cool to have chat on screen. Great video, you are cracked
Congrats, I hope plenty of people see this video
been loving the starmie deck it feel so much better than the articuno ex version
With you streaming how does that work for your opponents? Can’t they just watch your screen and see what you have?
Also congrats!

The first battle with Mewtwo seemed like the opponent could have played it better but they fucked up. Either way congrats
I'm missing 5 cards total out of these, three of which are in the Koffing line :(
In game 1, why do you not professor's research multiple turns in a row when you don't use other supporters?
why ddint he retreat the venu in the last play of the last battle?
In the first matchup, why not use sabrina to bring mew2 at 50hp finish with tacle 30 plus wekk 20. I perhaps missing something?
when? i think he had already used a Support card that turn so that was not possible
@@yareyaredaze9450 oh that makes sense
How would I go about doing a tournament like you did I’m very interested in competing!
how come you chose to not use professers research sometimes even though you didnt play any other support card?
to play around red card
Whats the idea behind waiting to use professor’s research, i see so many do it but i don’t know why
plays around red card
@@markwilliams5604 yeah ive learned the hard way these past 2 days
I think 9 energy might be a bit overkill, but not gonna turn it down lmao
Wait how are you playing on mouse and keyboard?
All the misty luck goes to Articuno at the final 😂😂😂😂😂
GZ!!
Why aren't you sitting on that big red chair? It looks comfy. Also: how do you play with mouse?
What your code/id?
4:51 why didn't you use prof research ? just curious.
Just In case they had red card
@@reinbow1343 ohh ok. great thinking!
@@reinbow1343 neither of their decks had red card
@@lzrstar3574 he didn’t know at the time though
@ yes he did, in the video he was talking about checking what’s in the opponent’s deck
1:22:01 Why shouldn't he evolves Weezing?
That's what I want to know too

If you could post a timestamp as an example I would be happy to explain my thoughts
Second game in the finals shows how luck based this game unfortunately is, which will make good players leave it
