Really great video. I will add some BIG infos regarding the football chants. 1.The traditional Manchester City football chant is "Blue Moon", whose original song was released in 1934 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. In addition, Manchester City fans often used Oasis songs, particularly "Wonderwall", as a main anthem. This because Oasis, one of the well-known Britpop bands, was formed in Manchester and the important figures of Oasis, the Gallagher brothers (Liam and Noel), had been supporting this club since the childhood. Oasis had even staged a big concert in 1996 at Maine Road, which was the old ground of Manchester City before moving to City of Manchester Stadium. 2.Liverpool fans performed "One Kiss" after they won the FA Cup in 2022. You made a small mistakes in this video. 3.Liverpool also faced Celtic in the 2003 UEFA Cup QF. During the first leg at Celtic Park, Garry Marsden (RIP) had even performed YNWA live along with the fans of both clubs just before the kick-off. Celtic won 2-0 at Anfield after drawing 1-1 in the Celtic Park leg. Honorable Mentions (and not related to the clubs): 1."Freed From Desire" by Gala. This song became a pop culture phenomenon in the sports due to the "Na Na Na Na Na Na" chorus, which is often used as an anthem, particularly to refer to the footballers who had a fantastic performance (like "Will Griggs on Fire"). It was even used as a goal song of the major tournaments, like World Cup and Euro. 2."Seven Nations Army" by The White Stripes. One of the best, well-known sport anthems, due to the main riff of this song being used as a chant (Oh oh oh oh). It became popular when Italy won the World Cup in 2006, before being overused as an anthem for the whole tournament, particularly during the 2018 World Cup (the entrance music). Originally, it was used by Club Brugge fans, who used it during the Champions League game against Milan in 2003. 3."Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. While this song was highly associated with England's national football team more recently, particularly during Euro 2020, it was already used by English clubs like Reading and Aston Villa. 4."L'estate sta finendo" by Righeira. While this song was primarily used by some clubs from Italy due to the nature of this song (Un giorno all'improvviso), non-Italian clubs, mainly the English ones, rearranged this anthem by adding the "Allez Allez Allez" chants. 5.It has suggested that the Champions League main anthem by Tony Britten was actually a modified version of the traditional coronation song in England, known as "Zadok the Priest" by George Frideric Handel.
The Northern Ireland national team use the glory glory song but we changed all of the lyrics and the main part is now we're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland
The craziest story behind a chant: Chelsea fans sing “CHELSEA, CHELSEA, CHELSEA” because the club is called Chelsea and they aren’t smart enough to come up with a good chant. Just like they can’t support a good football club. And also for every time they sing “CHELSEA” that is 1% chance of them not getting relegated. So if they say “CHELSEA” three times, it means there is a 3 percent chance of them not getting relegated
My local team Swindon town uses a slightly different song to o when the saints , it’s goes O when the reds , go sweeping in , o when the reds go sweeping in , I wanna be in that number , o when the reds go sweeping in . That’s about it so yeah.
Imagine if had Jude come to Liverpool they would be singing 'Hey jude' to him, a song by Beatles. Would have been A match made in heaven😊
Real Madrid fans always sing Hey Jude whenever he scores...
@@JerremyvdH what he means is imagine they sing a song made by a band in liverpool for a liverpool player
😢 Jude should have joined the team that his friend an idol played for😢
