I bought the new Origin 70003 moss green chronograph and it’s phenomenal quality and fit and finish for £209, I’ve got Accurist watches from the mid 50’60’70’90’s and they all perform perfectly and still look great.
It's a very elegant watch but a little boring - the fact that seconds hand fails to hit the marker precisely is a bother to me. Comparing it with Seiko (or even Citizen) is like comparing an Austin Allegro to a Subaru Impreza.
Lol, I agree it's a little boring however having owned many Seiko's and Citizens at the same price point, for absolute quality the accurist wins, the attention to detail is better I:e sapphire Crystal, strap quality and finish, recently I had a citizen retro diver style, it cost a hundred more but no where near as good. Just my opinion tho, thanks for your comments.
@@Alwaysontime-dh1gz It depends. Sapphire crystal isn't a big deal for me, I'm more concerned with the accuracy of the movement and the hands hitting the markers accurately. Also, Citizen uses Eco-drive, which means you never need to replace batteries, while Accurist does not.

Really loving Accurist, thank for your message really appreciate that
Nice looking watch reminds me of a vintage seiko 80s design.
Just got one of these for £103, intend to put a £20 stainless steel strap on it. Thanks for the good review :)
Thank you for your kind words

Hi Nick,
Look's Great!
Greetings Mario.
Hey Mario, happy new year my friend, thanks for all your support 💓
Accurist mostly use MIYOTA although there are rare one's that use Seiko
Thank you for your feedback buddy
I’ve just recently bought the accurist ms834br it’s now a discontinued
Fabulous watch
@@Alwaysontime-dh1gz have you ever done a review on one before
I tend to call those hands "broadswords" - I think I heard someone else call them that years ago.
Thank you my friend, feedback is always great and very much appreciated 👍

I ber the lug to lug distance might ve around 48 mm... Over 50 seem to be too much for that case size
I emailed Accurist to check the movement and they confirmed its a Miyota 2315 quartz.
Excellent 👍
PRX Powermatic 80 looks for half the price of a PRX quartz!
I think it is as well made

A nice looking watch but not for me .
It's lovely quality but doesn't quite get it right for me
