Hi, bro. Its been 2 yrs since you installed the A-Blip. How is it now? Still using the same or you’ve replaced it with another? I’ve been advised by plenty to stay away from an aftermarket since many have had issues with ECUs. Your advice & update much appreciated.

Yes. The bike has an optional GPS tracker from Ducati that activates the built-in lap timer. The auto-blipper wire has to be plugged into the connector for the GPS module. The connector is behind the front fairing.

Sorry for the dumb question: so you don’t have to flash the ecu if you mount the blip box?
Correct. The blip box piggybacks off the ecu.

My standard shifter has stopped working on my 899 so I'm looking at possible alternatives before I splash out on a new one, what's your opinion of it now you've been running it for a while?

Is the shifting seamless? No lag or even little delay? Is it worth the price?
It’s the same as stock, maybe even a little quicker. Only main difference is it has the downshifting too.

How do you know if your bike has GPS ?
You would have ordered it separately as a dealer add on. It doesn’t come with the bike. If you bought your bike used, you will have a lap timer feature active in the cluster. The GPS only serves for the purpose of a lap timer.
Whats your thoughts on the blip box? Worth it?
It’s a must have. I wish I bought it two years ago. Lol. Absolutely amazing, especially on the track. Rev matching is one less thing you have to concentrate on.
