I installed an autoblipper quickshifter on my 2017 gsx-r 1000. it works fine but I have this problem from time to time: when i Downshift from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd under 5000 RPM the bike gives a very brutal blow accelerator, it does not always happen but unexpectedly during the Downshift. it's a very brutal acceleration that almost scares and shakes the bike. I lowered the SL to 20 instead of 25. the RL is set to 3 but still the same problem. Can you help me please. thank you so much
Hi mate, I will look into this for you. First, make sure your battery is measuring 13.6V or there about and that all the cables are hooked up correctly including the ground wire
Hi there, thanks for your video, very helpful. Can you explain further about the rpm synchronization? I got a sgrace cut for my r3 but the "r" menu doesn't show any rpm at all. My harness came with two plugs for each coil and two extra blue wires on the left corner side, those I left unplugged.
Hi bud. I had a quick look. If you changed the setting to U in tp menu, the 'r' menu should be visible. If it is not showing the RPM in the 'r' menu, you need to go back to the installation manual to see if you missed a step.

Hi Kevin, do you get an Er code on the IRC unit when you engage the ignition? Also, check to make sure that the battery has enough voltage. With the RSV4, if it is under the recomended battery voltage, it affects the autoblipper.

Hi, thanks for the resourceful video. i have just fitted and IRC to my Panigale 1199s (2013) Straight out of the box it worked very well with very smooth up/down shifts, no pulling or pushing but for some strange reason the bike jerks at 8500 rpm when winding on the throttle or when held constant. I see you made adjustments to "rr" and would I need to do same here. The standard L and Ls were both 16 as delivered but I have increased the L to 18 and Ls 17 that appeared to help a little. Also with the Panigale I can only access the menu if the engine runs otherwise I cannot. Have I missed something? Thanks.

Following many adjustments to no avail I got the bike back to a Ducati tech. He replaced a worn wire harness (the bike's 9 years old) to the twin injectors and the problem is just about gone, Still need a little bit of fine tuning but I am most happy with it.

Hi did you had any electronic problems with the IRC quick shifter . I mounted mine on a cbr1000rr, and it worked for one day. After that it started cutting power while riding and wasn’t working at all some times. The bike was shutting down on neutral. I returned it and now I’m waiting for a new one.
Hello Francesco, i have not had that issue with IRC shifters but I have had a similar one with a DynoJet shifter. For me the issue was loosely mounted strain gauge sensor. As in the nuts and the shift rod were not tightened enough and they had slack. So for first few track days it was fine but then it did not work just like you described. So all I did is use locktite and tightened all the nuts better and that fixed the issue.
No. The shifter works only when the controll module is off. Everytime the module is turned on in order for you to make changes the shifter is turned off and will not work.

Hi Tony. In a couple of days we will have both quick shifter and auto Blipper for the Indian FTR. The quick shifter is $699 and the blipper is $1299. Blipper is for both cluchless up and down shift.

Hi bud, I have not forgotten about your question just been really busy. To reduce you would use (.2 or .4) and to increase you would use (2 and 4). From memory, once you are in the menu and you git either button it should display the number until you get to the one you need.
Im having issues with mine on my 07 r6 , won’t shift up unless you slightly let off the gas which defeats the purpose ! Anyone have the same issue ? And if u do how u fix it

I have mine hooked up to the coils, but it is not sensing the coils, to allow the bike to start. If I put the factory coils on bike starts up. Any advice?
Hello Kyle, please check your battery to make sure it's not low on voltage. When the IRC harness is connected does the bike go through the initial startup including priming the fuel pump?
Hi mate, yes if everything is installed correctly it should work right away. One way to see if it is installed correctly is to look for the two middle lines on the display to blink once once ignition is turned on and primed.

Hello, I’ve just installed the IRC blipper on GSXR1000 k5. But the blipper is blipping on upshifts as well. I checked the CE parameter. Any Ideas?
May I ask if sr is lower than how many rpm, does it mean that it is impossible to use the fast rewind?

If you have factory quick shifter then I would upgrade to the IRC blipper. It should work with the race ECU.

You gotta turn on the module everytime you're on bike to make the quickshifter work?
No. The shifter works only when the controll module is off. Everytime the module is turned on in order for you to make changes the shifter is turned off and will not work.

Hi Jonas, I dont think you should have to do so. It seems as if the settings get reset. Check that your battery is battery has full charge.

Hi Mark, from a previous case, it sounds like a sensitivity related issue. check the sensitivity level and maybe adjust it so it is not too sensitive.

check your battery to make sure it has full charge. Also make sure that you hooked up all the wiring correctly.

No need to flash the ECU. The IRC QS is independent of OEM electronics.
