Art Society is a brand new art collection game with easy to learn rules for 2 to 4 players! The game is coming to retail in November.
In Art Society, you are an art connoisseur trying to impress your peers by putting together the most fashionable art collection of them all!
Bid on the hottest works of art, then arrange them on your drawing room wall into a tastefully curated gallery that’s the envy of the local art scene.
But beware! Fashion is fleeting, and trends are difficult to predict. The paintings that you and your fellow collectors do not buy will eventually make their way to the museum, changing the worth of your collection.
In the end, whose wall will be the talk of town?

5.0 - My absolutely favorite games. You can pry them out of my cold dead hands.
4.5 - Love this game! At the same time missing something that would make it a 5. Could be hard to table, lacking variability, a little light, etc.
4.0 - Really great game, almost always keeping, although has meaningful complaints as to what takes away from the experience.
3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, may lose out to better games but the idea of never playing again is a bit sad.
3.0 - A good game, would play and suggest with the right people, if I never played it again wouldn't lose any sleep.
2.5 - A game I'd play again , but will never suggest it myself
2.0 - A game I don't want to play again
1.5 - A game I can't find any reason to recommend
1.0 - A game that is just bad.

Thanks for the review! Good to know that the tray was specifically designed to leave the tiles in the box while playing, which makes setup really quick.
Yes!
Thanks for the review. I like the look of this one, I love tile laying, and it looks like fun with the right player count.
Looks fun, the auction part make it different from the other similar games i own, i'll have to try it !
Any idea when this will be getting a reprint? Can’t seem to find a copy anywhere. I’m also in Australia.
Thanks for the review. I’ve been curious about Art Society
Very charming game. Mechanically nothing amazing but overall well put together and great presentation.
Thank you very much for sharing this review.
Hello! May I ask how would you compare this game to RA? I am wondering which on to get since they both are bidding game with amazing art. Thank you.
Wonder how this does at 2. Auction games usually don't work well at 2.
It's still fun at 2 but better at more. Because of the single bid vs outbidding it still works well.
What a pretty looking game
I have Modern Art. Should I consider this one as well? I think not.
I appreciate the review, but I totally disagree with you on how the market is controlled. This system (last player potentially gets the choice on the market manipulation) makes each auction very dynamic dependent on the tiles, player needs, and current market. I think it makes it much more interesting than always trying to win. Depending on the painting choices and your board state, you’ll want to go last specifically to control the market changes. This leads to tense and thinky bidding decisions and not just “pick my highest value auction paddle”.
