This is a good device. I was a color technician or two of the box stores. Their matching machines were not good. I got to the point i would just color match the colors on my own. It had to be perfect every time for me. Nice invention.
I have used this device to scan walls maybe 50 times and it works pretty good. I like that while you scan you can attach the cap to the back to protect the calibration swatch in the cap.

Thanks for your video, but can this equipment determine the color of paint on metal? How clearly it defines the color on the metal. I have a working chassis for testing, it was rusty and I left a paint sample on the metal, can it tell the color? Thank you
Does the Colorsnap work well for matching concrete? I recently took down signs in Phoenix that had been up blocking the sun for over 10 years and when I removed them, the concrete underneath was a complete different shade and I have had a terrible time matching this to the rest of the sun-bleached building. Any suggestions?
Yes it can match concrete. But you probly want to use a concrete stain and when you stain it you would most likely need to stain the entire wall to make it look even. It does a great job matching colors on anything
