10:46 I loved Vawn Cassidy’s Dead Serious series so I’ve tried to read the first book in her first series and it didn’t go so well for me. Even now I can’t decide if I should continue the series or not (so I get that). 14:45-14:55 I’m also currently reading a 535 page ebook. I wanna keep reading but I’m stuck in reading slump right now. 😭
I just finished the guild series this month it does get better with each book it’s not my fav of her series I prefer Hades more but I still had a good time
I am in a reading slump myself , with college basketball and NBA basketball all fighting for playoffs spots & on television all day its throwing of my focus on reading
I read all of The Guild series and I won't lie book 1 was my fav either. The rest of the series is pretty good though. I think part of the problem is I went into Guild expecting MK and Hades series vibes and it's very much not that, which was kind of disappointing, but I am glad I read it and I did like the series. I ended up loving the dynamic between the 3 of them! I say give book 2 a shot. Read a few chapters and if it's not for you then it's not for you. I enjoyed it overall though.
Skip it I have read the first 2 books books in the series and it feels like something happens then she goes on the run, kidnapped then on the run again and kidnapped again. They don't all spend enough time together. Definitely not the same feel as the other 2 series
ughhh my book pile gets higher and higher. Right now I am STUCK on Ninth House. I am determined to read it but holy shit am I lost and only 19 pages in. I've reread the first chapter like six times.
