I think its a little unfair to be angry at Kana, for this scene. She literally has no clue Miyeon ISN'T his mother. From her eyes - and the public eyes - his mother is alive, and very very well. How on earth would she know how triggering that sentence would be? How would she know that Aqua is carrying so much self-loathing and guilt that the idea of enjoying his new life in any capacity makes him violently ill.

As much as I would like that, Akane is 19 years old and Ai was 20 when she died and since Akane and Aqua are about the same age, that means when Ai died she would have been about the same age as Aqua, meaning her being the reincarnation of Ai is impossible unless something happened to Akane after Ai died allowing Ai to posses Akane's body/life. That is the only way I could see it working, but even then Akane has no memories of Ai that we see. Only that she is a method actor so she does heavy research into her roles.
She didn't know that Aqua had PTSD. She just said a tip to make him more emotional for the act. Use your brain pls and understand the Kana's point of view other than hating on her cause you like Akane or you just aren't smart enough to understand.
