dear Shauna, I knew nothing about this lady, did not know that she had a relationship with Elvis, but I followed the entire conversation and she talks about him with a lot of respect, credibly and does not talk like the others I saw in interviews, she talks about Elvis as a person and she doesn't make a fairy tale out of it she says what she feels and thinks and my mother passed away three years ago I talk to her every day her spirit her soul are with me my respect for this lady Mindy Miller and for you because I learn so much from you I follow you and presleymania because the love for Elvis comes from your heart and you are honest and Mrs. Miller I wish her good luck Anne from Belgium

Especially in Alanna Nash's book Baby Let's Play House. My skin crawled as I read this, poor Elvis would be so embarrassed to have such a book written about his intimate life, even if any of it was true. I couldn't finish the book in the end. It was almost as bad as Albert Goldman's book.
@@Patracat that's quite a stretch! It isn't anything at all like Goldman's book, which was designed to malign Elvis and destroy his reputation, and was filled with totally made up lies. The two books are like night and day, and Baby Let's Play House did not try to ruin Elvis, and did not do so. That accusation is not at all accurate, and Alanna Nash is not a tabloid style writer like Goldman. Also, it told about all kinds of relationships Elvis had with all kinds of women, not necessarily "intimate" relationships, and not about sexual details at all, so I'm not sure what you object to. Maybe you should have continued reading - you would have seen that the subject was all sorts of relationships, and nothing embarrassing.
@@katgirlblueI agree! Alana Nash has the 2 Best books written about Elvis! After that is Sally Hoedels book explaining Elvis inherited physical problems and Why Elvis took drugs. He took them to live, not to get high.
@@sandralybrand9425 in my opinion the two best books about Elvis are the ones by Peter Guralnick. I don't even remember how many times I've read them, but each time I feel that I know Elvis a little better. As for his health issues, I think the best book is The Strange Medical Saga of Elvis Presley, by Dr. Forest Tennant, who actually has all the medical files from Dr. Nick, but he's a pain management specialist himself, and really sheds light on how Elvis suffered with a very unique set of health problems. In any case, Alanna Nash is not a trashy tabloid writer, as someone else has suggested.

Shirley Dieu took Priscilla’ s side in order to be able to sell her book better. She went so far as to change her story about Priscilla making fun of Elvis in interviews…
That’s probably the reason why she turned her back on Mindi.

Dominique: Yes! You’re spot on. She also attempted to discredit Ginger when Ginger’s book was coming out and started a feud on Facebook with Ginger. Through it all Ginger remained a lady but Shirley was pretty rough.
A month later on Elvis Week, Priscilla allowed her to display her book (Shirley’s) and do signing and sell tee shirts. In the book Shirley claims that Elvis wanted and was planning to get back with Priscilla. This was a huge turnaround from her prior interviews where she was very disappointed in Cilla and that Elvis never found his true love. This IMO makes it clear she had resumed her relationship with Priscilla and perhaps with certain conditions to do damage to Ginger/Elvis history and promote Prissy’s tale in exchange for help for her book.
So to me, her appearance at Graceland next month makes me wonder if she’s going in behalf of Priscilla’s tales.🤔🌈

When Mindi is speaking of moments with Elvis…. I can literally picture Elvis smiling while she is talking. I don’t question her memories, you can feel they are true. I just found your channel and this was great. It’s so sad that the Elvis world has so much hate in it. Elvis was all about love and if they truly loved him how can they do this to each other. Oh my gosh I got SO excited when I saw Mindi on the thumbnail I love Mindi SO so much beyond words, she is the absolute best, she is such a beautiful gorgeous woman inside and out with a beautiful heart and soul, she is the only woman that Elvis dated that I genuinely love and have so much respect for, she is my favorite Elvis lady, I‘m so glad Elvis and Mindi dated and that we all got to know such a beautiful soul like Mindi❤️ she is a true gem especially in the Elvis world, she loved Elvis for who he was, she was extremely compatible with Elvis and I love everything she does for his legacy and fans, god bless Mindi🤍 I love her and I wish I would meet her one day, Mindi is the biggest sweetheart and I respect her so much and the way she talks about Elvis. I can promise her that Mindi is one of the VERY few people that Elvis actually loves and that would be so dear to his heart, she is truly the best, I definitely believe Elvis truly loved Mindi and had a very deep connection to her. I don't know if Mindy will see this, but I hope she will. I owe her a HUGE apology. About a year ago, I saw her online - can't remember if it was RUclips, but must have been because I am not on Facebook or any other social media. She was reluctant to talk about her time with Elvis, saying she had promised him she wouldn't discuss him. At that time, I'd seen a few trashy books by women who claimed to have been Elvis's "only love", and I assumed Mindy was just another groupie or gategirl. I rudely called her out and asked why she didn't write a book like all the other women. After watching this video I can see how wrong I was about her! So sorry, Mindy.
As for that Shirley woman, that was one of the trashy books I was referring to. I'd heard a bit about it and decided I wouldn't waste my money on it. MM Princess??? There is only one lady I can think of who qualifies for that title and that would be Jo, Billy Smith's lovely wife.

I know that the Elvis I always wanted to know is the spiritual Elvis . . his essence and I knew this and was drawn to him since the age of 4. I never even knew Elvis because I was born the year he passed away. I cry and miss someone I never knew at times. His music or something about him is always brought to me when I don't even expect it on almost a daily existence. He's a soulmate in the purest way and I cannot wait until I will get to see him in heaven but I will honor him now and forever ❤❤❤❤❤❤

What most resonated with me during Mindi’s story, is the dark underbelly of the people in the Elvis world. How does this happen? After some thought, I realized that there has always been much to be gained through association with Elvis Presley as he lived. I understand now his reasons for escaping into the sanctity of his room for periods at a time. It made him seem eccentric when he was probably preserving his own sanity. We have also heard that his own people became insecure when he showed too much attention to one over another. They came to value their own self worth, based on their perceived influence over him; I helped him this…and I told him that…. Fast forward to 2024 and Elvis is still loved by people all over the planet. To be seen as important to him is vital to those who wish recognition on a world stage and that recognition remains exponentially beneficial. . Elvis kept trying to tell us “I’m just a man. If you cut me, I bleed!” Surrounded by these types, something tells me that Elvis bled plenty. To Mindi Miller, I say hold the line. Not everyone out there is trying to wear Elvis’ crown!

She gets bashed not because of what she done in her past, but because she tries to make herself more important in Elvis’s life, than she is. She brags about herself so much, that I’m positive that humble Elvis would disapprove. I’m spiritual too, and Elvis made me do it, lol.
Another lie by joes ex girlfriend. RON SMITH Is the one that invited me to a party, which was to be held at Elvis‘s house. Get your facts straight before you speak. I had not met Joe and his ex-girlfriend until the tour started. Just another lie, which is why I did this podcast to tell the truth.
Unfortunately, the Smiths were not around when I was on tour with him or when I was at his house or when we were in Denver or Palm Springs or on the road or in his Plains or anywhere, so yes they are lovely people and I have since met them, but they don’t know anything about my relationship with Elvis

I’m watching this 3 days after the live show. Thank you Shawna for a great interview with Mindi Miller. I am not aware of the negative impact Mindi went through eight years ago. Although from what I heard is so sad. I just don’t understand why we(the human race) can’t just get along!! QUESTION:: Would Mindi be willing to tell us say the titles of some of the books Elvis enjoyed reading? Also, Mindi do you feel that Elvis was getting ready for his early passing? Here’s a thought: When you think of Elvis and his secular music, it’s not a long leap to then think about his Christian faith and music; his Bible and religious books. During the interview, Mindi went in detail on how she and Elvis would study the Bible, read the religious books that he gave her underlining certain passages, and discussed Spirituality. Now, the thing is that Christianity and Spirituality are NOT necessarily one in the same thing, but they are often used interchangeably. We also know that Elvis dabbled in Numerology, which I believe relates to the occult.
Elvis was not perfect, but none of us are. He had a generous heart and cared about people. We know, he loved the ladies, but was not a “virtuous” boy. At times it appeared, that he “disavowed” any scripture relating to how a Christian should conduct one’s life and going one-step further, he tore it out, crumpled it up, thrown it on the floor and stomped all over it! 😊 Mindi then went on to discuss how she and others posed nude and how Elvis was okay with that too.
I say all that to say this: I believe that Elvis was a Christian even though it may not have always shown on the outside. Throughout his life, Elvis had so many “challenges and adversities,” but what’s important to note is, that through it all he “NEVER” BLAMED GOD or TURNED AWAY FROM THE FACE OF GOD, and this is what I think should be REMEMBERED and TALKED about.

It is disturbing that Elvis was asking for Mindi in 1977, and twice Joe Esposito would not make the calls.
Joe Esposito only stayed close to those that were greedy. Like Prisssy, Parker , Thompson. Elvis should have never hired him back.

This was one of the best interviews on someone in Elvis inner circle I have seen. Mindi your authenticity shines through ❤ Shawna please have her back for Part 2 and Part 3 ❤. I would love to hear the stories about what happened in her new car & if she kept it. Also would love to know how things were behind the scenes at Graceland after Elvis died. Meaning the interactions with family and friends. Especially with so many ex girlfriends and ex wife ect. He had Parker trying to run it like a circus,He had Beaulieu acting like the grieving widow & Lisa Marie being there and knowing she seen Elvis dead in the bathroom I’m sure he worried about her. I’m not disagreeing with you at all. I think he let some help an they took advantage & did what they wanted! An Joe always wanted to be number 1 in the Memphis Mafia. I just glad Elvis found out how he truly was! 😍👑❤️
The question still remains, "why didn't Elvis just pick up the phone and call Mindi." "She gets me," is allegedly what Elvis said, according to Mindi. For me that's pretty significant because I don't recall Elvis ever saying anything like that. You'd think he would have made the effort to call her himself. Please feel free to correct me wherever I'm wrong on the following, but when June J. didn't show up at the train station (I think) to meet Elvis, as she decided to marry someone else, didn't Elvis eventually go to talk to her? When Anita W.'s walked out, didn't he eventually try to talk to her? After he married Prissy, two-months later he let Ann-Margret know that he still felt the same way about her. He asked Joyce B. on four different occasions to move to Graceland. In 6/75 Elvis called Sheila R. to follow up with her about moving into Graceland. So, regardless of what Joe did or did not do, why wouldn't Elvis follow-up with Mindi, particularly if he felt that "she gets me.?" I think it's a valid question. Of course, there was Ginger A. and Alicia B. in the picture, but why would he let them deter him if he believed that "she gets me."
I'm waiting for Mindi to clarify the number of days that she was actually with Elvis. I've asked her now in two separate interviews and she still hasn't provided a firm answer. After all, it's just a basic question. Some may not think this is important but, for me, it helps to put the relationship in "perspective." From what I do know, I'm guessing 12-14 days. Even if Elvis was completely open with her from the very beginning, as she indicated, there still is a "finite" number of days that she was with him in order to really get to know him.
There are a lot of fans that have thrown in with Mindi because she says "nice things" about Elvis, so then it almost automatically becomes it's "okay to like her." And, I don't dislike her and I don't dispute that she had a relationship with him but, for me, she's just "over the top" in her delivery and talks as if she's known him forever, and I think it effects her message. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
