Which one is your favorite car? I am thinking of spending money on my GT4 ST205 WRC edition as well to make it maximum power. It’s stock at the moment but people say leaving it stock will appreciate value higher
Do it. I own the 204 in this video and have become pretty well acquainted with the 3sgte over the last few years, we've pulled 600hp out of this one. I have an st205 also and love it and absolutely recommend them if you want to get it to a similar power as my 204. As for big power (1xxxhp+) they are not the platform for the fainthearted. The aftermarket support is almost there but 99% of the parts will need to be either imported from overseas or custom made (like the manifold on my 204 for example) and you'll be spending a lot of time working out what does and doesn't work. I Currently have billet short block on order as I too appreciate and enjoy the power side of things and am going balls to the wall, and I can promise you it will not be a stress free process with this car and platform haha.
To add to this; If the value of the car is a concern, leave it stock and go buy something with a JZ or RB for ''maximum power'' as you say. You'll be close to 6 figures deep in a celica and not get half of it back if you change your mind. They're very much a platform where you either love it as it is and leave it alone or love it enough to go bat shit crazy and absolutely send it with no regards to the value of the car when you're done :)
