I graduated from here in 1970; during my first year I had one of the corner turret rooms on the fourth floor in Founders. It was incredibly cold with five windows. We used to have to heat the room with a gas meter that ate shillings like they were pennies. I enjoyed seeing the changes and also some of the more familiar sights.
Just finishing off my exchange application now to come for a year, your videos helped me make my final decision (at 1am my time the day it's due!) to put Royal Holloway, thanks so much :)
I'm coming here in 4 days to study BSc Economics and your video is making me sooooo excited (and nervous...;) )!!! I can't wait!!!! Thank you for the tour!!! x
+Anastasia Blaga Hi Anastasia, sorry for my super late reply - took a break from youtube! Thanks for your lovely comments, I hope you're enjoying Royal Holloway.
I'm moving here from Spain to do an Erasmus in 6 days. Thank you for this super-useful video. I'm studying History, so I feel you've literally invited me to walk through the door at 7:23. ;-)
I already commented on another one of your vids, but thank you once again for showing the campus! I'm arriving September 20, can't wait to see all this beauty

Hi! Does anyone know what the classrooms look like? Especially in the Psychology Department? If so please tell me! Probably joining soon for Msc.Clinical Psychology
Hey im looking at coming to Royal Holloway next year. I noticed you showed something called medicine. What is that and can you tell me more about it please. Thanks!
Hey, this video was really great! I just wanted to ask if the psychology course is the right course for me as I want to be a clinical psychologist or something to do with councelling. I know this is a bit early as I am just about to start 6th form but I am really determined and excited to work in that department. I just thought that you would be asble to give the best advice since you study psychology. Thank you :) ^^
Thank you so much for this - it's such a beautiful campus! I'm starting at RHUL this September to study Music and I really can't wait!! :) I was just wondering, which hall did you live in in your first year? I'm trying to choose and I'm finding it really difficult to decide! Thank you, and great video! :)
+Isabelle Palmer Hi Isabelle, congratulations on choosing RHUL and I hope you have a lovely time! I lived in Wedderburn & Gowar and absolutely loved it. Layout/features wise they are exactly the same as Williamson, Tuke and Butler. But I would say that Wedderburn and Gowar are a little quieter as they are tucked away at the edge of campus (but still only a 5-7 min walk from lectures etc), whereas Williamson, tuke and butler are right in the centre and I would say are a bit livelier/more of a party kind of halls. Obviously within each flat you're going to have quieter and noisier people and it's going to vary a lot, but I would say that Wedderburn and Gowar have the perception of being quieter at least. Perhaps because one of the blocks there is for postgrad students and one is specifically for international students. All of these halls are more expensive though and are self-catered so it depends on your budget and whether you want catered or not - let me know if you have any further questions :) Hope that helps!
I'm moving to RHUL in 8 days and I am super excited, so thanks for all the uploads!! I also make videos so it'd be great if you could check them out sometime :) Congrats on graduating!
+Emma Spore Hi Emma, sorry for my super late reply - took a break from youtube! Hope you are enjoying RHUL, thank you for the lovely comments. Checked out your channel and have subscribed, great videos!

Hey there. I was thinking of applying next year. Are there any muslims on campus. I wear the headscarf so i am really nervous💖
Yes I'm Muslim and I'm going study next year out there
Could you tell me more or less how much will I expend weekly on food if I am in a catered hall?
Why is it so empty? There doesn't seem to be anyone there
This video was posted in June, most people's exams finish in May.
I went there yesterdyv
