I really appreciate you being open with your food and household budget amounts with your large family. It definitely helps put things in perspective and how much it costs to run a large family.

Jammerill, squish a tube of hair removal cream (like nair or veet) down the drain and leave it for 20 minutes then rinse water through. It'll melt all the hair clogging up the drains xx

Wow! I did NOT know you could buy dry(food) pantry goods to have delivered to your home from Walmart! I will have to check that out when our pantry gets low.
Seems like Walmart is finally hearing the cry of families with little kids that just DO NOT want to go in-store! I say, PRAISE GOD! 🙌
Thank you for letting us know!
    Blessings to you and yours!

The only trouble I've encountered is their new way to pack up liquids. My juice bottles come to the store in a pack of 6 so I ordered 12 & expected 2 pre-packed boxes. Instead I got a thin cardboard box with 12 bottles and no bubble wrap in it. Half the bottles had huge dents in them which make them awkward to hold. Also, all the bottles had sticky labels on them and a super sticky tape across the top. I use these bottles for water after they're empty. THREE dishwasher loads later and the sticky tape residue is still there so every single time I went to use the bottles of juice, it was that annoying sticky tape residue feeling. If you can get past this obnoxious packing method (and, obviously avoid glass as that just doesn't ship well thrown haphazardly into a box), it can be helpful.

I've been sending Walmart food boxes to my elderly mother for a couple of years. It stretches her food dollar and she doesn't have to worry about going to the store or handling a lot of heavy boxes/cans. Also, I ordered some pantry items for myself recently and they were all dented up. OK, but messed up looking. I think they got banged around in the box. When I called to complain - I thought they would make me send the items back or at least take them to a nearby store, they told me to keep them and they'd send another order, which they did. Great service from Walmart!

I had a laugh over their packing methods today too! I got 2 boxes of tea bags in a little box. That's all. Nothing else even though I ordered much more. The rest will be here over the next couple of days!

Love your hat. I don't look good in hats but I would try to wear one if I had one that cute. We did a big dig for a above ground pool about twelve yrs ago. My husband did the digging and retainer wall. We moved three months ago to a new town and we are getting another pool. I am so dreading all the digging but it's so worth it. Good exercise and your little ones can learn to swim. Totally worth it. Always enjoy your grocery hauls, leslye

I always have two kinds of paper plates on hand, the thin, flimsy cheap plates (usually can find them about 2 cents a piece) and also the foam. With homeschooling, I find we already do two dishwasher loads a day with all the cooking and meals at home. I just prefer using disposables often, so I have time to do all the other things rather than spending time washing dishes. It's such a time saver! Well worth the money :)

I have been thinking of you as baby Benjamin gets closer. I have an easy Crock-Pot recipe for you. Breakfast in the Crock-Pot. It is ready when you get up. For your family you probably need 2 Crock-Pot full but it is very frugal and is easier than making french toast for a big crew. For each crockpot cube a loaf of French Bread. Combine 6 eggs, 3 cups of milk, 1/2 cup sugar and some cinnamon and vanilla if you want. Let the egg mixture soak into the bread for an hour or two. I throw it together while cooking dinner and refrigerate. Right before bed, remove the crock from the refrigerator and put into your Crock-Pot. Turn to Low. Cook 6-8 hours. When you get up turn to warm. Serve with syrup. Everyone can eat as they get up. I often will change it up by peeling and dicing 2-3 apples or adding some blueberries to it for something different. Maybe you make a Crock-Pot of each. I hope you try it and it is something that your family enjoys.

Have you ever thought about getting amazon dash buttons for toilet paper and paper towels? That's always what we do and whenever we run low it is at our door in two days. Typically really well priced. The buttons cost 5 dollars and then you get 5 dollars off your first purchase! Those spoons were so funny.

I love watching your videos! As an Australian I am astounded at the amount of packaging that the groceries come in. I'm glad most of it can be recycled. In the state I live in we have to use reusable bags to do our shopping with or we can buy a bag at the checkout for 15 cents each. It was a bit of a shock when it came in but now I am used to it I think it's fine. 😁

odd how they didn't put bags on the two bags of pancake mix liked they did for the bags of flour which is needed in case they leak but they put extra paper package around the medal cans tomato sauce which seems like a waste of money.the rest of the big cans weren't wrap .also the thank you stickers on a jelly lids seem like another unnessary package cost that will passed on to the consumer.

To save more money buy a permanent coffee filter cup, they aren't too expensive and it will save from years of buying and tasting the" paper flavored coffee". I got the "gold" one from Walmart as a Christmas gift and have had it for 7 years and it's still going on strong.

I highly reccomend buying in bulk more! We were a family of 9 when I was growing up and buying is bulk is how we kept costs down as much as possible on food. Any snacking foods got bought at Kostcos or Sams. We bought huge 10lb bags of frozen chicken for $18 at these stores. However we also bought rice in 25 lb bags and other gods like flour, sugar, beans, and oatmeal all in bulk and we stored them in airtight large buckets (think airtight painting buck with a screw on lid). It saves you so much money and a long as you restock often enough you are prepared for an emergencey. We also can and dry fruit as well as keep powdered milk and eggs on hand and bulk dried pasta. We have a seperate food pantry where we keep just bulk everything in there (no joke we have probably 30-40 jars of peanut butter alone). This will save you a ton in the long run even if it means spending the money now and keeps you prepared for emergencies. There is this online store called webstaurantstore.com and you can but everything I said in bulk there but also 35lb tubs of peanut butter and bulk condiments and bulk disposable casserole pans. Bulk spices, bulk oils, bulk sprays, bulk sauces (soy sauce, terryaki, salsa, marinades, salad dressings), bulk applesauce, large canned items, bulk chips, bulk cake mixes/muffin mixes/ cookie mixes, literally almost anything bulk and inexpensive

Ok this may be a long one but, please bare with me. Our house was 20 years old when we moved in. The hall bathtub was always stopping up. We'd call the plumber and he would come out and work on it. It would drain properly for a few months then clog up again. My cousin worked at a plumbing supply store and I was telling him my sad story. He asked if the tub had a lever to raise and lower the stopper. I said it did but, the plug was missing. He said to unscrew the lever plate and remove. Then he said to stick an opened up wire clothes hanger in the hole. My husband did that and when he pulled it out I thought it was a dead rat. It was a huge hair ball. It seems that there's some kind of hook that attaches the stopper to the lever. If the plug is removed that hook thing stays there and catches hair. Once that hook was removed we never had anymore problems. I hope this helps with your tub drain😎

I really like the idea of convenience and efficiency, but I have misgivings about the excess packaging and waste. Hmmm.... It also makes me think about how the items must arrive at the Walmart. Surely there is this same excess packaging, it's just hidden from me since it happens in store warehouse out of sight. I'm a super recycler, and I would recycle all the paper and plastic outerwrap, but sometimes managing all that stuff and waiting for it to be recycled is a pain in the butt.... HMMM!!! Gotta think about it!

Demitasse spoons eh? You're going all fancy on us lol😀 they'll be perfect for baby food or tea parties. They make good tasting spoons to keep by the stove while you're cooking😀 I worked in a warehouse packing orders and what they're doing would never have flown. Walmart will see how much it's costing them and probably re train their shippers😀👌

Firstly your nails are beautiful! Secondly....do you not have delivery to door supermarkets in the US? I know this Walmart haul is pretty much to your door delivery but not in the same sense. Here in the UK pretty much all supermarkets offer delivery to your door of all your goods and you just need to be in to receive it and sign for it, no boxes or any bags at all if you don't want.
