I think you should provide a separate place for the broody chichen, soo the other chich are not bothering her. It could be a cardboard box, soo she can't leave the eggs.:))

U don't use marker to mark the eggs because it has a high chemical substances. Just use pencil next time 🙂
Makes sense may safe paint that's safe for children I wonder I am a little worried the pencil will wipe off does it

We tried but she got off her eggs and wouldn’t lay on them so we had to put her back in the other coop.
Maybe your rooster or those eggs weren’t fertilized
