I was there that day spending a 3-day 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express just right next to Bristol Temple Meads Station. During that day where you were, I spent a bit of time at Bristol Temple Meads during the morning and then later on when I got the train back to London Paddington at 6pm in the evening that day. I was hoping that the 17:00 service was operated by a Class 800 IET, but it was an Class 43 HST along with the 17:30 service as well so I waited for the 18:00 service and that was operated by Class 800 IET and I was very happy travel on it in the end. During my trip to Bristol Temple Meads and back to London Paddington, I decided not to travel on the HST on that route this time because of I did, I would've missed an Excellent opportunity to travel on the Class 800 IET, Class 802 IET on that route. Going on the Class 800, 802 IETs on that route which I did was amazingly brilliant! I have travelled on the Class 43 HSTs for 26 years and I decided to give them a break now but they're still an instant Classic Train to see today.
Thats what a /9 unit is. An extra driving car placed on the front. There are also 150/9s. Class 150/0s are the units with an actual third car that isn't another driving car.
I saw 56078 and 56087 on an RHTT train at Crewe a couple of weeks ago. You could partly make out the yellow and orange livery on one, but the other was completely filthy!!
Love this video, awesome camera shots up & down the platform. Great work! Love GWR.

In fact all the GWR ones are like that???
