More ballet boys absolutely!. Such athleticism, grace and strength. It is a shame ballet is not mandatory for males in public schools in the United States, as part of a comprehensive physical education program. Although, more boys are enrolled in ballet schools in the United States than ever before, I think at least partly due to the so-called "Billy Elliot factor," the influence of the film and stage musical about a British boy whose passion for ballet over boxing lessons prevails against the odds of his class and family upbringing. Wouldn't it be wonderful if, someday,, there would be more boys in ballet classes in high schools and colleges than on college and high school football teams in the U.S., as well more professional male ballet dancers than pro football players in the United States? Right on, Darren! I take it you studied ballet. Are you a professional dancer or in some other athletic profession? As for me, I took ballet classes in college and again as an adult in my late 20s up to 40 y/o/, for the cardio and flexibility exercise, But really too late by even college to pursue ballet professionally. I now wish I had answered "yes" to my late mother, when she had asked me as a boy of about eight years old if I wanted to take ballet classes. In hindsight, not only would I have said "yes," would have begged to be sent away to a boys' ballet boarding school to live and study ballet almost 24/7. But back then I feared bullying if classmates, especially boy peers, found out about the tights and leotards etc. Yet when one really thinks about it, what do football players wear for uniforms--football pants made out of spandex, which are just tights, really, And jockstraps are also just a dance belt by another name. The only basic differences between football players' uniforms and male ballet dancers' costumes are the padding and cleats instead of ballet shoes. Maybe if reincarnated, I will have my chance in next life to be a boy ballet dancer, huh Darren?
The central dancer in the second group is awesome! His feet and elevation are just💯
